This month I’ll be taking part in another Lil Mafia event, something that came about from a debrief with Nat after my last talk.

This isn’t about me. It’s about you.

It’s a follow-on from my last talk about being curious about your work and tuning in to what you’re really trying to say. What is your POV? Your why? Your purpose? Whatever you want to call it.

By dissecting your work and reflecting on it, the answers are often there. It’s just a matter of setting aside the time to ask the questions.

And they may not be immediately apparent, in fact, they probably won’t be. But you’ll walk away with a point of reference that can evolve, shift and become something you build on over time.

The work will happen in small groups, with everyone helping each other. And to help facilitate the conversation, there’ll be some seasoned photographers @natasjakremers @keepercreative @cool.weddings @loveonfilmau weighing in along the way, helping you uncover the pieces of your own puzzle.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, come and join us before your next season really kicks off.

Honestly, we STILL can’t get enough of Gen + Lawson’s red-hot WA nuptials, captured perfectly by @KeeperCreative

As far as themes go, Gen had seen her fair share – being a florist herself and all at @sir_botanical. So, spoilt for choice, picking a vibe wasn’t easy. “Once I decided I wanted to go bold, well... we went BOLD,” the bride shares.

OMG HI HELLO, WE BACK BABES. 😘💅🏻💘 God it feels good.

FIRST UP MI LUVS ‘tis Dom & Katie. A film heavy, floaty and flower laden delicious Autumn day.

The perfect amount of chaos and calm to remind us we’re human, alive, imperfect, beautiful, messy and splendid.

So grateful to these two souls for being so kind and gentle for my first wedding back since having a babe. Their openness to letting things unfold and be documented purely as themselves reminded me deeply why I love this thing that I do.

It’s been a minute. But here we are. 10 weeks of this delicious little tipple.

My god, I am a mother with a baby, earth side, in my arms. How incredibly absurd the whole thing is.

How lucky I am. How lucky we are. Steve and I. How lovely my body is for growing that small little nose, two arms, those toes. She did it, she knew she could, but how and when. She’s small, she’s here. She already has a way, a spirit, a little spark. How lovely. A source of endless somethings. Different every day, but how, I’m here every minute. A baffling and beautiful thing.
