✨Mini-Vlog✨

Had the best time yapping together over a 12 foot skeleton 🤪 We visited The Yard in McKinney, TX for some themed drinks, eats, and hangs! Excited for our next read together!

💬: Looking at my neighbor’s 12 foot skeleton a little differently nowadays 😂 Hbu?

💗 Trick or Treat with some of my 2026 reads! 💗

This was so hard to pick books because I’ve read so many good books this year! But some definitely surprised me both in good and not so good ways 🫣

( Plz don’t hate me if some of my “tricks” were your favorites 😖 )

Have you read any? What were your thoughts 👀

AHHHH! Prey For Me is hereeeee! 🩵

This has been such a long awaited book for me. Immediately after finishing Willing Prey last year, I messaged @allie.oleander asking if we were getting a sequel and begging for it to be about Margot & Caine.

While I wasn’t really expecting a reply, because A) I imagine Allie is a busy author, and B) my message came from a non book related account (sent last year before I made a bookstagram) Allie replied right away, and let me know their story was on the way, and thanked me for reading! This was the first time an author had replied directly to me, and it was such a pleasant interaction. Interactions like this (and binge worthy books like hers) are what keep this book reading community such a fun place to be. 👏👏

So congrats to @allie.oleander on this release, and I cannot wait to devour this one too 🤩 by @keepupwithkerr

It’s always a great time with these girls and @panpanbakeryandcafe 😍 Of course we had to visit for the fall seasonal drinks with our fall fits and books! Pan pan never misses so if you’re in the DFW area you absolutely must check it out!

💬: Which drink would you order?!

I recently finished reading an ARC - Where Roads Lead by Emma O’Dea, which was the perfect start to fall! I can’t wait for my physical copy of the book to come in the mail tomorrow 🤩 This book is now available for you all to enjoy! happy reading 🥳

Full review:

4.5 ⭐️

From the very beginning I was hooked, and desperate to hear more about this story. Elsie was captivating, witty, and strong. On a journey of self discovery. Will was grumpy, curious, and longing. Their dynamic right from the beginning had me staying up and reading on waiting to see what came next. Their banter was hilarious, and their connection was immediate! I was rooting for them from the jump!

Will’s unsubtle (yet somehow unconscious to him) protectiveness, over Elsie was so sweet, and intentional. He was always looking out for her - from morning coffee’s, to Halloween candy. Elsie also became exactly what Will needed too. She became his safe space. She was there for him without even trying. The town was both of their saving graces. Tying in her novel to the town, and her experiences - Emma - you are genius because this was pivotal to the novel and for me as a reader.

Theo and Ava, were incredible side characters too! You couldn’t help but be angry with them, laugh with them, grieve with them. Emma wrote each and every character, even down to a cat (Sweet Creamsicle), with so much thought, that every character just made sense, and added so much to the book.

I genuinely found myself going through every emotion with the character’s (even found myself tearing up from the landscapers advice!!) DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS READ.
