POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Almost two weeks ago now we hosted the first private screening of my first short fiction: Nog even goeie vrienden.

I was very nervous showing it to my family, friends and colleagues, but the reactions were great.

Extremely thankful to everyone who helped making this movie and all the support along the way. Amazing to see how many people collaborated on this project.

Thanks @rauwkost.film @fg.jeurissen @arjenvandoezelaar @lllawrencelllee for the production and mental support.

Special thanks to the main actors @bram.legerstee and @zouhair_mtazi

Thanks @zoevanderkust for having us in @lantarenvenster, thanks @ketchup_fles for hosting the night.

Thanks @jord.jpg @studio.angelineau for the pictures.

Thanks @hanna_waeger for the poster design

And thanks to @kees.film for being the influencer of the night (and of course for the edit) taken in LantarenVenster by @kees.film

SHOUTOUT #28
@kees.film
Cutting, shaping, and puzzling have never been such a joy with Kees, pre-production, production and of course, post.
@kees.film where to start!? It was such a delight and so much fun to work together with you on this production. Your humor always made my day, as well you were ways able to perfectly balance it out with professionalism. During pre-production, you stepped on board editing our storyboards. It was so cool to see how you have already set up a system allowing us to work with a seamless remote. Seeing the movie in the form of a previz, cut with the VO of you and Arjan, allowed us to have so much clarity on communication and planning.
Having gone through that phase knowing the objective, you were the perfect candidate to be my director’s assistant. Being able to check in if we had enough after every take for the edit gave me the confidence to move forward and made our objective of only 11 shooting days possible.
The editing phase went smoothly, although there were challenges for sure, but your belief, organization, and follow through made this into a film we can all be proud of. So many cool discoveries were made and I learned a lot from you. It was an inspiration to see you work! Last but not least you were doing so many extra tasks behind the scenes: element shoots, b-roll, body double for Gelo, transportation, eye and tongue acting, BTS, pasta, late night puzzling, data, meme-generation, animal handling, the list goes on. Your passion and energy pushed this film to the finish! Can’t wait to kick the next one out of the park!
