Many times in the past decade, I’ve gotten the “advice” that I need to “just stick to ONE career path.”

However, I wasn’t raised to think like that. My whole childhood life, my parents always encouraged me to be curious, bold, and well-rounded. As long as I completed what I started and was a responsible, kind, good person, they’d support my endeavors. I carried this mindset with me into my adult life.

So… I think the goal isn’t to choose just one thing. It’s to build a life that has room for everything one is meant to create and experience.

In this season, my work life looks like this. 🫶

Yesterday marked 8 years since the 411 EP was released into the world. Wow… what a formative era that was.

This milestone music project will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was nothing short of passion, resilience, discovery, discipline, love, care, and a whole lot of community. 🥰

If you haven’t heard this collection of songs, I invite you to check it out on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, or anywhere else you stream your tunes… or watch the music videos for each song on YouTube! What a time. ❤️

Forever grateful to all of my family & friends who rode alongside me during this memorable chapter. 🫶 taken in Anaheim, California by @keilifernando

Meet our director, producer, actor, and editor Keili Fernando.

“I joined the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge after Dennis – our lead actor and writer – shared that he had wanted to participate for nearly seven years. Together, we wrote Crosswalk to focus on a universally relatable, everyday moment while inviting the viewer to engage with our main character beyond assumptions or judgment. At its core, this film explores what it means to seek confidence and self-belief when the world doubts you. Every little step forward is a big act of courage, even when it’s as seemingly simple as crossing a street.”

Keili is an Asian American award-winning filmmaker, photographer, actor, and multidisciplinary artist based in Southern California. Her work is character-led and rooted in exploring identity and the quiet complexities of human connection. It spans short films, music videos, documentaries, plays, and commercial campaigns. She runs a creative studio called KLiF Productions. by @keilifernando

Life feels like it’s moving so fast sometimes when I’m working on multiple projects.

So… I’m collecting little ordinary moments that make it feel slower, richer, and romantic. This allows me to breathe more deeply and be more present. ♡ by @keilifernando
