What a blessing this booking was for SO many reasons! 🤩✨
•
Originally, I auditioned for a supporting role in a different spot they were producing, then I was asked to read for the hero in THIS spot… and BOOKED IT!!! 🥳🙌🏽 Thank you @mdtagencyinc 💟
•
This was a 2-day shoot with an incredible cast & crew who were all so lovely to work with, and I even scored a Nectar mattress of my very own!!! 🥰🙌🏽 Thank you @mindrite & @nectarsleep! I can confirm these mattresses are FANTASTIC!!! I’ve been sleeping like a baby for weeks now! 😋😴🥰✨🛌
•
Any opportunity where we get to improv and PLAY is always so much fun. We ended our 2nd day of shooting with that final brunch table scene, all of us crammed together, and it was pure comedy! The jokes were FLYING! 🤣 I had so much fun.
•
Shoutout to the entire team! This was such a joy to work on! 🥳✨🙏🏽

If you’ve ever stumbled across an old photo and smiled, you understand why I do this work.

I’m Keili, a Southern California portrait photographer and filmmaker. After 15 years behind the camera, I’ve come to believe that the photographs that matter most deserve more than a place on our phones or hard drives; they deserve a place in our homes.

Through Portraits by KLiF Productions, I create custom portrait experiences and artwork designed to help families remember a season of life long after it has passed.

Thank you for being here. Here’s to holding onto the people, places, and seasons that shape us. I look forward to celebrating yours.

Sincerely,

Keili

Meet our director, producer, actor, and editor Keili Fernando.

“I joined the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge after Dennis – our lead actor and writer – shared that he had wanted to participate for nearly seven years. Together, we wrote Crosswalk to focus on a universally relatable, everyday moment while inviting the viewer to engage with our main character beyond assumptions or judgment. At its core, this film explores what it means to seek confidence and self-belief when the world doubts you. Every little step forward is a big act of courage, even when it’s as seemingly simple as crossing a street.”

Keili is an Asian American award-winning filmmaker, photographer, actor, and multidisciplinary artist based in Southern California. Her work is character-led and rooted in exploring identity and the quiet complexities of human connection. It spans short films, music videos, documentaries, plays, and commercial campaigns. She runs a creative studio called KLiF Productions.
