🎥 Behind the Stream: STS9 – Live from The Caverns 🎬✨🌀

There’s something really special about being underground with STS9. Last night was full of so much love, incredible energy, and beautiful moments shared between the band and everyone in that room. Nights like these are a reminder of just how powerful live music can be. ❤️

This clip is from “Life’s a Symphony in Unity, It’s Alright,” featuring the incredible Maureen Murphy on vocals. What a moment to capture!

And we get to do it all over again tonight! 🙌 Another night underground, another chance to soak up the high vibes and amazing music. You can catch us broadcasting LIVE on Nugs tonight at 8 PM CT if you can’t be there in person.

See you underground! 🌀🔥

🎥 Behind the Stream: Rainbow Kitten Surprise – Live from Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre 🎬🔥

Closing out a stellar concert with “Run” is one heck of a way to end the night! 🤘 This song is an absolute blast to shoot and direct. From Ella jumping through the air to Ethan tearing it up on slide guitar, there’s so much happening onstage that you’re constantly chasing the next moment. It’s the kind of song that keeps you on your toes in the director’s chair and reminds you exactly why live production is so much fun.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise is one of my favorite bands to work with. Their music is incredible, their live show is full of energy, and they give you so many moments worth capturing. Getting to help bring that energy to the screen is what it’s all about. ❤️

🎥 Behind the Stream: Umphrey’s McGee – Brooklyn Bowl Nashville 🎬🎹🔥

Night two of Umphrey’s McGee’s Nashville run at Brooklyn Bowl brought a special surprise on October 3rd! The band welcomed JoJo Hermann of Widespread Panic to the stage on keys and debuted Panic’s “Ain’t Life Grand”. 🤘

These are the moments that make live broadcasting so much fun. You’re in the director’s seat, watching it all unfold in real time, anticipating the next move, and trying to capture every bit of the magic as it happens.

Umphrey’s is my band, my people. I’ve worked with these guys longer and more consistently than any other band, and getting to be part of weekends like this in our hometown of Nashville never gets old. ❤️

A few days ago, I headed up to Cincinnati to shoot the band Bleachers at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center, right in the heart of downtown.

What an incredible venue — and an awesome first experience of this band and getting to spend a night immersed in their music. There’s something special about walking into a show with fresh eyes and discovering just how much energy an artist brings to the stage.

Great room. Great band. Great night behind the cameras. Cincinnati definitely delivered. 📸🎥

🎥 Behind the Stream: Zac Brown Band – “Chicken Fried” | Charleston, SC 🎬🔥

Some songs just hit different when thousands of people are singing every word back to the stage. “Chicken Fried” is one of those songs, and Zac Brown Band had the crowd at Credit One Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina fired up on September 17.

There’s something special about a song that brings an entire crowd together, and this one never disappoints. These are the moments we love capturing from the director’s seat.

Here’s a look behind the scenes at how we brought this moment to life during the live broadcast. Every camera, every cut, every moment happening in real time.

🎶 The War and Treaty headlined the Ryman last night.

And they didn’t do it alone. Lalah Hathaway, Rissi Palmer, Wendy Moten and Sierra Hull on “Reclaim All of Your Time.” Louis York on “Forgive Me.” Tommy Sims on “Lay This Bottle Down.” Taylor Shuck on “Earthquake.” Vince Gill walked out for “Up Yonder”. And The McCrary Sisters turning “Holy Ghost Fire” into exactly that 🔥

Here’s what the photos can’t quite hold, though: before any of the rest of it, these two are some of the kindest, most loving people I know 💛 The voices, the show, the crowd on its feet - all of that is real, and none of it is why I love them. It’s just the part everybody else finally gets to see.

Congratulations, Michael and Tanya. You’ve earned every inch of that stage ✨

I hope this is the smallest room you ever headline again.

🎥 Behind the Stream: Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country – Live at the Mother Church 🎬

Every night the Ryman carry weight. This one comes from Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country 2-night run, where Daniel and Co paid respect to the one and only Dolly Parton with a heartfelt rendition of “Jolene.”

Playing that song inside the Ryman Auditorium, the room Dolly herself graced so many times over the years, felt like the only way to properly honor what she meant to this town, to country music, and to just about everyone.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, there’s nothing like standing inside the Mother Church for a moment like this. Grateful to have been there to help capture it.
