First screening event in the books ❗️Had a blast hosting the 40th anniversary screening of FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI: JASON LIVES (1986) and ONE DARK NIGHT (1982) last night with my buddy @boliver986 featuring a live presentation and Q+A by writer/director @tommy.mcloughlin ! 🔪🏕️🛶

We had a great turnout from so many die hard Jason fans who were able to meet Tommy, get their merchandise signed and see props from both movies up close. We were able to transport the screen-used tombstone from Tommy’s backyard to the event at the @gardenacinema ! It was a riot seeing everyone take pictures with the tombstone, as it has never appeared before and likely won’t ever again. 🪦⚡️

This entry in the franchise has always been a crowd favorite and last night really cemented that fact. It was especially cool to finally see One Dark Night on the big screen, which has hardly ever played since its original theatrical release.

Endless gratitude to @judy_at_gardena_cinema_ for letting us put on such a wild event. Special shout-out to @sdcostumeguy for traveling to the show all the way from San Diego to appear in full Jason Voorhees attire, which he wore during the movie, giving the crowd a 4D experience like never before!

Thank you to all my friends and fans that joined us! You all made the evening so special!

Stay tuned for MORE crazy screenings coming soon! 🎬 taken in Gardena Cinema by @kellenpembleton

Our Kickstarter goes live next Saturday, August 15th @ 12pmPST/3pmEST ❗️💃🔪

We need YOUR help to raise the budget to make @logorafilm ! Every contribution will help us get closer to our goal. We are aiming to raise a minimum of $10,000 to be able to pay our cast, crew, effects artist(s), locations, etc. We will have 30 DAYS to reach it! 💸

There will be a wide variety of perks available including zoom calls with Eric Roberts, signed posters, lobby cards, associate & executive producer credits, special thank you credits and more!

Whether you’re able to donate or not, we’d very much appreciate anyone that can share the campaign around and get as many eyes on it as possible. STAY TUNED for more updates! 🪡🧵🩸

LOGORA is a love letter to the giallos and slasher films of the 70’s and 80’s. We will be utilizing practical effects, colored lighting and old school camera tricks to create a film that builds tension and leaves you chilled to the core. 🥃

Here is our teaser poster we shot back in February.

Had the best time on tour with @nothingspecialca 🚐 Appreciate the dudes for giving me the opportunity to join them on the road with them and @halibutheadofficial 🐟🤘Life’s been pretty rough lately and any chance to just get buried in creative endeavors is a healthy reset. The future is bright! Go support these dudes and rip into their music!

Also - if anyone needs film photos shot, I genuinely love taking them. Hit me up if your band needs shots, your movie needs BTS or if you just wanna mess around! I’ve got three different camcorders from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s too as well as a fisheye lens. Let’s shoot! 📸🎞️🏜️📹🎥 taken in Waffle House by @kellenpembleton

RIP ADAM 💔

It still doesn’t feel real and it’s hard to come to terms with it. We spoke just last week about his incredible Malta trip and how happy he was to finally visit the Popeye (1980) locations. I was at the Phantasm tree when I sent him what became our final messages. I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of my memories with him.

I’ve been following Adam’s journey since near the beginning when he was in his van dwelling days. He quit his job to travel full time and go on spontaneous adventures. In those early days, he was flat broke and really seeing how far he could stretch a dollar. It took years for him to build up the following he has now. What really drew me to his channel were his filming location videos. He’s the whole reason I ever got into visiting and documenting locations myself. I also went on a trip to Disney World back in 2013 and my friends and I were doing the 24-hour all nighter at Magic Kingdom. In preparation, of course I was able to count on Adam’s video from the year prior in 2012 where he, in hilarious fashion, documented his experiences. It made it that much more exciting to go. I was always intrigued by his travels to wacky roadside attractions, offbeat hole-in-the-walls and abandoned spots. He would often risk it for the biscuit by going into uncharted territory in hopes for some awesome footage. These adventure videos would always include some silly catchphrases that he’d create and claim as his own including “heck it!”, “are those petunias?” and “Hitchcock would be proud!”.

We both first moved to LA in 2015. It wasn’t until the summer of 2017 when we first met at Ringo Starr’s birthday bash celebration for his 77th birthday. Ringo and Joe Walsh, among others were hosting this grand event over at the Capitol Building in Hollywood. I saw Adam The Woo vlogging outside and couldn’t believe it. I had been watching his videos for over 5 years at that point and it was so nice to finally meet. (Continued in comments ⬇️)
