Stories of addiction and recovery for National Recovery Month ❤️‍🩹

Got to support @brian.wizzz at @jaxxtheatricals with a live performance and screening of Wrath/Mercy (featuring @wakkyjakky and @karamariejd, with @natanyaross in the film adaptation).

We then watched @colin.tracy’s Scars, and that one really broke me open. I’ve been navigating my own relationship with scars after my surgery, and the ending brought me to tears in a way I didn’t expect. These are the moments when we see pieces of ourselves reflected back through someone else’s story. ❤️‍🩹

I also got to briefly meet @kellenpembleton and learn more about his project @logorafilm, which just completed a successful Kickstarter campaign!

Love seeing artists get to do what they do best—and share their art and stories with us.

Thank you, Brian, for bringing so much art into my life! 🧡🚲

Went to a screening of
Friday the 13th part VI
And it was so much fun!
It was in 4D because Jason was walking around during the film!!
This was unforgettable and definitely one of the best things I've experienced.
I haven't smiled on the 4th of September
in a long long time.
High key, the main girl in the film is named
Megan. So that made it extra special to me
And I also went with an awesome person
@kaitlynzebraa who invited me
And I met the guy who set this up who is
also very cool.
Thank you for having me and sharing this awesome experience!!
I'll never forget it(:
