I have dedicated the last three years of my life to Mountainfilm’s production and have loved every second, never did I think I would be wearing both the festival producer hat and the filmmaker hat during festival weekend.

When @racheldaly__ and I set out to make this film we were always so worried about audience reactions. We truly never believed that people would embrace this story and this message the way they did. The amount of love and vulnerability the audience showed us this weekend is something I will truly never forget. Thank you for proving us wrong, and thank you for choosing us as best film :)

We are also so grateful to have received a Special Jury Mention, it is a TREMENDOUS honor, I’m still shaking!

@wpeat thank you for your expert eye and helping us find our through line as well as standing by my side at our SOLD OUT SCREENINGS, it would not have been possible without you.

@julija_mma_pajic I am forever in awe of you and the way you hold yourself. The amount of people you touched and helped this weekend with your story is staggering 🐅

Thank you to @stashw for watching every single rough cut I have ever presented him. Thank you for pushing me to be better!

Thank you @the_newt_estimate and @esthersychan and the whole oxbow crew for an incredible block of shorts that people were so very motivated to see, your films and their messages are beautiful 🌈

I love Mountainfilm with a burning passion, I love my staff, I love my colleagues, i love my bosses/mentors, I love our ethos, and I REALLY love playing here ⛰️💕

Also I love the women in my life, thank you for your immense emotional support this weekend. My face is still swollen from all the crying 💕

Also thank you to Paul Nicklen for holding the step and repeat so I could accept my award. So humbled 💕. Also thank you @sassafraz_ for the amazing photos taken in Mountainfilm by @kellermouse

We are so excited to announce our film “Submitting Tigers” has been accepted into the Oscar Qualifying film festival @amdocfilmfest in Palm Springs.

This film has been a 4 year labor of love and showcases a conversation about abuse and healing that is so near to my heart. Discussion leads to prevention ❣️

I want to thank the powerful @julija_mma_pajic for so bravely sharing her story and her life’s work, as well as the incredible crew who dedicated hundreds of hours of their time across multiple continents to see this film through.

SoCal friends: our premier is Wednesday March 25th!!
