My travels last year inspired me to write my FIRST NOVEL!!! Coming Soon! I cannot wait to share it with you!! 🤗 As we drove through the misty, rain-battered Highlands of Scotland, a story started to form in my mind. It wasn’t until about a month later when we were settled on a sheep farm out in the Welsh countryside– after I frolicked through this enchanted forest that was in our backyard– that I finally put fingertips to keyboard and started writing it. 💻 Inspiration comes from the people I meet from different towns, cities and their stories. From great pop culture, literature, films and shows. Life always contributes to inspiration. 💕 . . . . . #writer #writersofinstagram #writing #author #authorlife #authorsofinstagram #novel #novelist #novelistofinstagram #book #booklover #fiction #romance #adventure #adventures #adventureawaits #historicalfiction #romanceadventure #inspiration #people #travels #fionastale by @kellsie_moore

Final stop in Ireland: Belfast We only had a day, but we spent it at the Titanic Museum 🚢 — and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype. 🙌 It’s built right where the Titanic was constructed and launched, which makes the whole experience feel incredibly immersive. There’s even a little ride built into the tour, and the storytelling is so well done — from the workers who built the ship, to crew members who narrowly missed the voyage, to hearing the actual emergency call and seeing a real life vest that saved someone. Truly powerful. ✨ That night we stayed in the cutest artsy hotel (with, of course, great live music — because Ireland 🫶). And just like that… it was time to head back to the ferry. #WanderEurope #VisitBelfast #HistoricTravel #TravelGram #SeeTheWorld by @kellsie_moore
And finally — Dublin 🍀 We stayed in the cutest room above O’Regan’s Pub, right in the heart of the city. During the day it was quiet enough that I could take over the space and get work done… and by night it turned into the perfect front-row seat to what Ireland does best: live music. 🎶🎸🎤 A fantastic local band played downstairs, the place filled up, and it felt like the most Dublin experience possible. Live music and Guinness really are the heartbeat here. We also became slightly obsessed with Butlers — the coffee chain where every drink comes with the most amazing chocolate truffle (honestly genius). 😋 Finally made it to Trinity College for a tour, and wow — Ireland truly does museum storytelling so well. The Book of Kells exhibit was incredibly engaging, and learning about the history behind it all made it even more special to see in person. 🤩 And of course, a proper Guinness was absolutely required. 🍻 The harp, the symbol of Ireland itself was purchased by Guinness — really showing how the drink became a real representation of the culture and country. And yes, they really do have a 9,000-year lease! We absolutely loved Dublin. Such a perfect mix of culture, history, music, and warmth. 💓 #VisitDublin #LiveMusicCulture #TravelMoments #TravelDiaries #ALifeWellTravelled by @kellsie_moore
Continuing along the Wild Atlantic Way — Dingle ➝ Killarney We only passed through Dingle, but it looked ridiculously cute and I wish we’d had time to explore more. Killarney also seemed like such a cool town, but with work we didn’t get to venture far beyond the hotel and the abbey — thankfully both were incredible. Walking out to the abbey ruins ended up being one of my favorite stops of this leg. No tickets, no crowds, just open access to wander tiny halls, spiral staircases, and hidden corners. It felt wild and historically preserved in the best way. 👌 Then came Blarney Castle. 🏰 From the ground you can see how far the stone sits out from the wall, which makes it very clear why they have to hang you upside down to reach it 😅 The line takes hours, and once you’re in, there’s no turning back — especially climbing that tight spiral staircase (my claustrophobia was freaking out). You really earn it. David kissed the stone… and I at least gave it a supportive touch with my hand as I hurried my way out of there. 😂 #irelandtravel #traveladventures #travelmoments #lifeofadventure #travellife by @kellsie_moore
Next stop: Galway → Doolin → the Cliffs of Moher Galway felt instantly festive — we mostly wandered the main street, where there’s live music pouring out of everywhere. At one pub there were two hen parties happening in the back, which felt very on brand for Ireland. 😂 Irish pubs are so sneaky — tiny little entrances, and then once you’re inside everything connects and winds together for what feels like blocks, with multiple levels and rooms. So cool. In Doolin we stopped at the pub famous for its stew (had to, obviously). 🥘 Then the Cliffs of Moher — I finally got to see puffins! through binoculars, but still🐦 We went as close as we could, and it was breathtaking, especially when the rain rolled in. I had my field jacket on and honestly could’ve stood there for hours just listening to the birds and wind and rain. There’s a memorial stone for those who’ve lost their lives here, and now more safety measures in place, but the cliffs are still powerful and humbling to experience. The bird colonies alone are incredible. And then… the baby lamb farm 🥹 If you stay there, you get to help feed them — pure joy. The sheepdogs were unbelievable to watch, one of them was even blind and still herding flawlessly. This coast is unbelievably peaceful and stunning — one of those places that just slows your whole nervous system down. 💓 #visitireland #traveldiaries #travelmemories #lifeofadventure #gratefulforlife by @kellsie_moore
Next stops along the Wild Atlantic Way — and WOW, it completely lived up to the hype. 🤩🙌 Donegal welcomed us with the cutest little market, and our first lesson in Irish parking. 😅 We didn’t have the right coins, so we popped into the bank to ask about change and the woman at the counter just reached into their “help tourists park” bag and handed us a pound. Donegal Castle is small but full of beautiful details — and the highlight was a guide casually playing traditional music on a violin inside. (Also… tree chair outside was very cool🌳) We stayed the night in Bundoran — not the best hotel, but such a cute seaside town. And then came Downpatrick Head… possibly my favorite stop in all of magical Ireland. ✨ We army-crawled our way to the edge in the wind, with soft grass under us, birds singing, and the most epic landscape stretching forever — and only about five other people there. It felt wild and peaceful and surreal all at once. 💓 Somewhere along the drive we spotted a very interesting agricultural pyramid, and of course we had Irish pub songs blasting in the car as we wound along the coast. 🤗 The Wild Atlantic Way is pure magic. 💫 #visitireland #wildatlanticway #travelgram #travelwithus #gratefulfortravel by @kellsie_moore
Made it to Ireland for the first time!🇮🇪 We crossed over on the ferry — which is wild because you literally drive your car straight into the boat — and headed for Derry/Londonderry. ⛴️ Walked the famous Dark Hedges, hopped across the hexagons at Giant’s Causeway at the end of the beautiful coastal walk down. We stopped to picnic on our way with a classic meal deal, though the wind definitely fought us for every bite. 💨 Derry itself was such a highlight. Live music everywhere, “Baby Guinness” shots (Kahlua + Baileys, no actual Guinness 😅), and the kind of friendliness Ireland is famous for. The best moment though — a fabulous pair of strangers invited us to join their table for a drink and shared stories about life here and the history of The Troubles. It was one of those conversations that sticks with you long after you leave. 💓 Derry is a beautiful walled city — cannons still lining the edges, murals, music, and so much history — now just as well known for the funny tv show “Derry Girls” as for its past. On the way out, we stopped at the ancient Grianán of Aileach circle, and it felt like the perfect quiet moment after such an eventful weekend. #irelandtravel #visitireland #traveldiaries #travelandlife #alifewelltraveled by @kellsie_moore
Glasgow is a big, bustling city. 🏙️ Epic museum. Famous for their curry. Tons of shopping. 🛍️ And then suddenly… the roads were shut down and flooded with dressed-up taxis. We had to ask what was going on — turns out it’s the annual fundraising parade for sick kids, with taxis decorated like little rolling party floats and kiddos waving from inside. 🥹 Then we noticed a seemingly random escalator… just sitting on the sidewalk outside our apartment… so obviously, we took it. 🫣 Turns out it led straight into the famous Prince’s Square 🤩 — this gorgeous, hidden shopping center we never would’ve found otherwise. ☝️ Travel rule: always take the weird escalator. #WanderTheWorld #CityWithStories #HiddenGems #SeeTheWorld #TimelessPlaces by @kellsie_moore
Being back in Edinburgh is magic. 💫 We stayed in a Georgian flat just off the Royal Mile — tall windows, creaky floors, soft light on old stone buildings — the kind of place that makes the whole city feel suspended in time. During the days, we wandered. Through closes and kirkyards and winding streets. I did a little more witch-trial research for my novel (coming soon 🤍), standing in the very places that inspired so much of the story. Then back inside with our laptops, working US hours while the sky slowly darkened outside the windows. 🌄 History, ghosts, stories, real life all layered together. Edinburgh just has that energy. Magic, every time. ✨ #ScotlandTravel #WanderTheWorld #HistoricalTravel #CityWithStories #MagicalPlaces by @kellsie_moore
