In progress painting in the neighbourhood, the tracks in Newtown Enmore Stanmore,Sydney - under the flight path, fig birds chatting in the sheoaks. Where once were trams.

At eye hight, a walk/bike ride from homebase @lennoxstreetstudios Train passengers can see Freddie Mercury and Humpfrey & Katherine in the African Queen painted by Peque years ago along same wall. This now because I offered and corrected a tag on Freddie a while ago.

Repurposing a set of make up brushes, paints from @circlepaints. A million strokes on a corrigated door. Call me tram girl! Always thinking of my dad when painting anything architectural. by @kellwallwork

Turns out the lovliest stencilled mural is also on a social enterprise, a library & community hall for quiet reading, dance classes and so much more since early last century. William Case Morris biblioteca, Palermo Soho, BA, Argentina

"AFTER THE RAIN" at NGA, such a profoundly immersive show. Congrats @tonyalbert on another beautiful, richly considered curation for the 5th National Indigenous Art Triennial. It closes on Monday, soI jumped on the train to Nganbra for the day, joy and reflection, so much to post. Maybe I'll make a reel.

A pleasure to be a part of the @sydneycommunitycollege one day Mural workshop and be inspired by @kellwallwork's amazing journey and work throughout her art career! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

It has been a hot minute (actually many years) picking up a paint brush and getting my hands messy with paint. Time went by so quick and wish I could somehow take the whole piece back home to finish it off.

Many lessons were learnt along the way from my mistakes which made me appreciate the skills of a muralist.

Would definitely recommend doing something like this - that is out of your comfort zone.

It was a very rewarding and fun experience, meeting and connecting with all the other talented artists on the day. by @kellwallwork

Annette Kellerman was born in the Inner West. She worked hard in her youth to strengthen her body & overcome weakened legs through swimming. She championed excercise and pioneered sensible one piece costumes, trailblazing new freedoms for women at the turn of 20th Century.
