if only smell- o- vision was real… where’s willy wonka when we need him?

maple brown sugar chocolate chip cookies, ft. maple brown sugar compound butter

my compound butter-

8 oz softened butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup brown sugar
a healthy pinch of salt

in a med bowl or in a stand mixer w/ the paddle attachment, mix together all 4 ingredients until well combined. use immediately, or shape into a log and wrap tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper.
this butter can be stored in the fridge for up to 2- 3 weeks, or in the freezer for up to 6 mo.
