💔✨ Alt indie-pop heartbreak anthem incoming… The video for my new single Lose My Head is out now! Lose My Head is about dancing your way through heartbreak, when the only thing left to do is turn pain into energy and lose yourself under the lights. 🪩 If you’re into indie disco grooves, lots of guitars, and sing-it-out heartbreak lyrics — this one’s for you. 🎶 Lose My Head by AKA PRIMETIME is out now everywhere. 👉 Hit the link in bio to watch the full video. ✨ @jjroxmusic – vocals ✨ @scarpisnaps – bass ✨ @sarastix – drums ✨ Charlie Russel – mixing ✨ @_johnwebbermasters – mastering ✨ @fstopblues81 + Digital Film Makers – videography by @kellyappletonmusic
Watch The Pearl Harts tear down the patriarchy—one sexist advertising slogan at a time! 🔥💥 We shot this on one of those crazy hot UK summer days, the kind no one is ever prepared for. The Pearl Harts had just come off a gig the night before and rolled up to the shoot in Kirsty’s big truck—a little moody, running on no sleep. Surrounded by sexist advertising slogans all day in the sweltering heat, the whole set felt claustrophobic—which only made this moment even more powerful. By the time we hit record, we blasted Rage Against the Machine, and they fully unleashed their fury. And it looks 🔥🔥🔥. Can’t wait for you to see the full video—dropping tomorrow! My new single Electric Blue is out today! 💙⚡️ @aka.primetime I wrote this one in the middle of a “winter” that had nothing to do with weather. It’s about those seasons where everything feels grey, heavy, and harder than it should be — and the moment you realise the only way out is through. Electric Blue is about colour again. Choosing joy. Choosing the version of yourself that dances under violet skies instead of sinking into the grey. If you need a song to help you survive winter — literal or emotional — this one’s for you. Go spin it and let it colour your world electric 💙⚡ ✨ Vocals — @jjroxmusic ✨ Bass — @scarpisnaps ✨ Drums — @jakehaydendrums ✨ Mixed by Barny Barnicott ✨ Mastered by @_johnwebbermasters by @kellyappletonmusic
"Living With Ghosts" is out now 🕊️ I wrote this during a time when everything I’d built felt like it had fallen apart overnight. It’s about learning to live with the past while trying to move forward — for anyone who’s ever felt stuck between who they were and who they’re becoming. 💭 Go and follow my artist project @aka.primetime for all the BTS and more Credits and epic thanks to these legends 🎤 Chloe Foy — vocals 🥁 Sara Leigh Shaw — drums 🎸 Sara Farina — bass 🎛️ Me (AKA Primetime) — guitars, production & songwriting 🎚️ Mixed by Barny Barnicott 💿 Mastered by John Webber #newmusicalert🚨 #altindiepop #womeninmusic #producerlife #guitarist #musicrelease by @kellyappletonmusic

In Body has been getting some radio love! 🎧✨ Huge thanks to @johnkennedydj for spinning it on his X-Posure show on Radio X, and @jerichokeys for the support on BBC Introducing York & Humberside (home turf for The Pearl Harts!). Jerichos take on the message behind the song is spot on too. Thank you for truly getting it! 🙌 Let’s keep this going — more to come! 💥 @thepearlharts @scarpisnaps 🎸 #InBody #AKAPrimeTime #NewMusic #BBCIntroducing #RadioX #ThePearlHarts #IndieMusic #WomenInMusic by @kellyappletonmusic
From a rough idea to a fully produced track—this is how In Body came to life. 🎶✨ Rehearsals, pre-production, studio sessions… every step shaped the sound of my debut single as AKA PrimeTime. Huge thanks to everyone who was part of this process! 💜 Hit play to see behind the scenes, and if you haven’t yet, go stream In Body now! 🎧🔥 Link in bio. @kirsty_lowrey @scarpisnaps @sarastix #BehindTheMusic #StudioSessions #InBody #NewMusic #AKAPrimeTime by @kellyappletonmusic
Happy International Women’s Day! 💜 When I wrote In Body, I was thinking about all the ways women are told how to exist—what we should look like, how we should behave, what we should strive for. There’s this constant pressure to fit a mold that was never made for us. But today is about celebrating strength, defiance, and taking up space. It’s about rejecting the labels and expectations that try to box us in and owning who we are—loudly, unapologetically, and completely. To every woman and gender-marginalized person out there fighting to be seen, heard, and valued on your own terms—this one’s for you. 💥 Let’s keep smashing through the barriers, lifting each other up, and making the world listen. @thepearlharts (Drums & Vocals) @scarpisnaps (Bass) @itsastrobeach (Video) @jdb_set (Set Design) #InternationalWomensDay #InBody #WomenInMusic #BreakTheBias #OwnYourSpace #AKAPrimeTime by @kellyappletonmusic
BTS at the In Body video shoot! 🎥✨ For this video, we wanted to capture that claustrophobic feeling of being trapped—literally caged by real-life sexist advertising slogans from different eras. We have been systematically conditioned to doubt ourselves—our worth, our identity, our place in the world. We wanted to bring that across visually, showing how these messages box us in. But In Body is about breaking free. Can’t wait for you to see the full video—coming Wednesday! 💜🔥 The vision for the video was brought to life by the amazing @itsastrobeach With set design by the brilliant @jdb_set Featuring @thepearlharts #InBody #BTS #NewMusic #IndieSleaze #WomenInMusic #AKAPrimeTime by @kellyappletonmusic
