OK. Confession Time.

This year I am allowing myself to be a priority. I am experimenting with new, fun hobbies, and I am loving it.
I have been learning chess, and it feels good.

I am learning hip-hop dance moves on social media and am going to take a leap and try Salsa.
I have been having a blast!

Honestly, I have spent years pouring into others and I would do it again. But I need to learn to pour into me, as well.
That’s not selfish. That’s wisdom.

A full cup has more to pour than an empty one.

It’s good to try new things.

What is something that you have been wanting to try?

Maybe instead of saying “I can’t”, say “Why Not.”

This is where my heart beats the loudest.

Behind prison walls. In rooms most people avoid. Sitting face to face with women the world has written off...but God has not. I’ve been in ministry since 2011, called into the hardest places: strip clubs, prisons, recovery homes, and the streets—to restore dignity, awaken hope, and remind women who they are when everything has been stripped away.

In 2016, prison ministry became a deeper part of that calling as I began sending resources behind the walls and walking alongside incarcerated women. I don’t come with quick fixes or shallow inspiration. I come to sit in the hard, speak truth with love, and witness God bring freedom from the inside out. This is the work that formed me. This is the work that fuels Kelly Master Ministries

Hard rooms are my assignment—and hope is always the outcome.

Packing for Mississippi.

Study Bible. Fierce & Free. SHINE. That’s what’s going in my suitcase today.

This week I’ll stand in front of 700+ women who society has written off. Women behind bars who are hungry for words that remind them they’re not forgotten.

They ask for these books by name. They pass them around. Write in the margins. Keep them under their bunks like lifelines.

This Bible is worn because it’s been with me for 20+ years—from my lowest point to this moment where I get to carry hope into the hardest places.

I’m excited. I’m ready.

I just returned from Europe, but oh… I think I left my heart there. 💕

What an incredible adventure my son and I shared—beginning in New York City, crossing to London, then traveling through Paris, Provence, Cannes, Monaco, and finally returning to Paris.

This Giving Tuesday, I reflect on the ministry God has entrusted to me @for_dignity —which has made a global impact. From prisons to recovery homes, strip clubs, brothels and the streets, God has used this ministry to bring hope, freedom, and restoration to countless lives.

I stand amazed at how He took my shattered, addicted life and turned it into a story of healing, deliverance, and purpose. He does not call the qualified but qualifies the called. All He asks is a willing heart, and He will do the rest.

.
Today, I am humbled and grateful for how far He has brought me and how He continues to move through For Dignity to change the world. To God be all the glory for turning ashes into beauty and pain into purpose.

🚢⚓ Who’s Ready to Set Sail in Faith? ⚓🚢

Okay, friends, I HAVE to share this fun story with you! For the past year, one of my closest prayer warrior friends has told me she sees me wearing a captain’s hat every time she prays for me. She says it’s a picture of the leadership God has called me to—standing firm, staying the course, and leading, even in the stormy seasons.

Fast forward to recently: The Holy Spirit began speaking to me about how a captain doesn’t abandon ship—even when the waters get rough. Leadership isn’t about taking the easy way out; it’s about courage, responsibility, and holding steady when others might jump ship.

But wait, it gets better. Last Sunday, my husband walked in holding a package—a captain’s hat! I had no idea where it came from until it hit me—my intercessor friend had taken a prophetic step and SENT it to me.

So, yes, I put that captain’s hat on (photo evidence exists 😂), and as silly as it felt at first, I felt something shift in my spirit. It was a declaration of faith: I am standing strong. I am staying the course. And I believe this season is shifting into something incredible.

2024 is NOT over, my friends. Every day is a chance to believe bigger, dream wilder, and walk out what God has called you to. I’m wearing my captain’s hat in faith, ready to navigate these waters with purpose and fire. Who’s with me?

Recovery is Possible!

September marks National Recovery Month, and today, I reflect on the journey that brought me to freedom. September 15, many years ago was the last day I had a drink or drug in my system. Back then, I couldn’t go a single day without either. I was lost, drowning in addiction, and couldn’t see a way out of the darkness.

In the first picture, you’ll see a woman lost in pain. What you won’t see is that I still had a couple more years of addiction left in me. I thought I would die, even writing goodbye letters to my sons, believing their legacy would be that of a mother lost to addiction. But God had other plans! Plans of deliverance, healing, and FREEDOM! He stepped into my hell and broke every chain of bondage holding me down. Today, I live free from shame, regret, and the torment of addiction.

For those struggling in addiction, you may feel as if the world has labeled you a failure, a loser, a piece of trash—but our Heavenly Father is the ultimate Redeemer. He collects what’s broken and turns it into beauty. He gives joy for mourning and hope instead of despair. Today, I no longer wake up from blackouts or live in regret. I walk in FREEDOM and help others find theirs.

Sobriety opened up a world of opportunities I never thought possible. If you’re in a place of despair and addiction, please don’t give up. Reach out. You are NOT alone, and your life matters! Recovery IS possible!
