This is the energy we hope to find, at some point, after a cancer diagnosis.

Because there is so much hardship in this journey. So much fear. So much uncertainty. And sometimes, finding your way back to joy and back to appreciating the body that carried you through it takes time.

But when we find the light, find the hope, and start loving on our bodies again… we take one more step forward.

And Kelly? This is what that joy looks like. 🥹💗

Breast Cancer Awareness is about much more than pink ribbons. Breast Cancer is TERRIFYING and we're going to be real about it.

Meet Kelly, diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer at age 40 in 2024. She said, “it’s almost always a thought. Is it back? Why does my breast still hurt? Should I eat this? Should I avoid alcohol?"

The questions follow you. Every ache. Every appointment. Every decision that used to feel simple.

It kicks off an entire month of education, awareness and fundraising. 3 things I wish I knew at diagnosis
Use your resources. I leaned into my hospital connections to build my care team.
You are stronger than you think. Mindset is half the battle.
Reach out to the cancer community for support, no one knows what you're going through like us (wish I had tapped into this sooner).

This unexpected long weekend was wild, with high highs and low lows. Chemo triggered my UC. Steroids, bland food, and no coffee = cranky me ahead 😆😩😭 by @kellypropst
