If you’re new here, hi 👋 I’m Kelly

I help women get strong in the gym so they can do badass things outside of it🏋️‍♀️❤️‍🔥

I started lifting in 2015 because I wanted to get “skinnier.” I had no idea that picking up weights would eventually lead me to becoming stronger than I ever imagined, fall in love with the outdoors, and build a life around doing hard, fun things with my body💃🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏂🏔️🌞

Now I have the privilege of coaching women to do the same😇

Not to chase the smallest version of themselves—but to build a body that is strong, capable, muscular + resilient👊

Around here you’ll find heavy lifting, functional powerbuilding, practical nutrition, outdoor adventures, client wins, questionable amounts of travel + plenty of reminders that you don’t have to choose between performance, aesthetics + actually enjoying your life🥰

So if you’re into getting strong, getting outside + becoming a little more badass along the way...

Welcome! You’re in the right place🌲💪

And if we haven’t met yet, tell me what you want to be stronger for👇

tbh building bigger glutes reallyyyy isn’t that deep 🍑

But helping women feel genuinely confident, strong, and capable as fuck? Priceless.

Watching my clients get stronger, take on hard jobs, show up for their families, push past their comfort zones, and realize they’re capable of SO much more than they thought?

THAT’S the good shit🥹

We have lots of new faces around here so I thought it was about time I re-introduce myself 😜 My name is Kelly and I am a Women’s Strength and Nutrition Coach- specifically focused on helping you feel strong and capable in the gym AND outside 🌲🏋️‍♀️🏔️ Here are 9 fun facts about me🤗

1. I have been lifting consistently since I was 17(wowwweee 11 years🥹) and absolutely fell in love with the grind of lifting heavy after being mediocre at sports my whole life. I competed in my first powerlifting competition in October and deadlifted 420lbs🤓

2. I LOVE my clients- I train 1:1 clients both online and In Person and have a group called GROW Strength club- helping other women become their strongest self is one of my greatest joys!

3. I liveeeee to travel and explore new places! My faveoite things to do when traveling are eating(duh), walking around exploring all day and checking out hikes, gyms, and outdoor activities ✈️🌍 🏋️‍♀️

4. I have 2 adorable cats named Milo(orange boi) and Schatzie(thicc black bby) that are both almostttt 3 years old and keep the house hectic😜

5. Lifting is my first love and structure of my training- but I got into running 2 years ago after hating running for my whole life. Ive completed 2 half marathons- currently prepping for a Spartan race and maybe another trail half😝🏃‍♀️⛰️

6. I’m fairly new to Mountain Biking and Snowboarding but I am obsessed with both and am always scheming adventures 😈 it’s daunting to learn new hobbies as an adult, but so worth it 🥰

7. I have a Business Marketing degree but never felt called to the corporate life. Starting this business was one of the scariest but best decisions I’ve ever made 🥹🥹

8. Love a good beer or spicy marg, but overall enjoy 🍃 or good ole fashioned sobriety- My mind and body feel so much better without alcohol and lots of substances😌

9. Going to shows and dancing my booty off makes me so alive💃 I listen to everything from punk rock, country, metal, indie, rap, classic rock and roll and everything in between

Let’s be friends!!! Comment down below anything we have in common 🥰🤗 thanks for reading this far, I hope you’ll stick around 👻 taken in Sonoma County by @kellysuttonfitness

Advanced lifters think differently about the gym+lifting than beginners👀

A couple of the main ways advanced lifters look at their training differently are:
1️⃣ you view the gym as “training” vs “working out”. There’s a different mindset and intensity around “training”
2️⃣ your focus is on building or maintaining muscle- not burning calories
3️⃣ you know that the basics repeated over and over again will always get you the best results
4️⃣ you train consistently, even when it’s not convenient and you don’t feel like it
5️⃣ you understand that not every lift will have PRs and if they do, they’ll likely be adding 1 rep or 2.5lbs from the previous week
6️⃣ you know that there’s no absolutes- BEST exercise, BEST program, BEST trainer etc.

What did I miss?!

Social media can be so deceptive and it’s sooooo easy to only post the most flattering angles and videos where I feel my best. But I even catch myself comparing my current self to old photos and videos of myself that were the “best version”

We are SOOOO much more than what our body looks like(or what we wear to the gym🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄)!!! It’s so easy to get lost in the sauce comparing yourself to your old self, your friends, people you see on social media etc etc.

So let me remind you(in the worlds of queen Hannah Montana) that nobody is perfect. Trying to hold yourself to impossible beauty standards is an uphill battle I’m sick of us ladies fighting.

Aesthetics are only a SMALL piece of the puzzle. Focus on your strength and what it allows you to do and you will always be happier ❤️

Anotha week done💃🍁🍂🚴‍♀️🏋️‍♀️⛰️

Biiiiig Fall slow down underway😌 slowing down my week + days and trying to take more time to just chiiiiiill

Aiming to lift 4 days/week(only 40-50 min lifts), get 8-12k steps, peaceful yoga 1-2x/week, sleep 7-8hrs/night, bike atleast once a week and cook at home as much as possible. Just enjoying the basics that make me feel good🫶🍂

Started a new habit last week of getting up a little earlier and going for a 20 minute walk before I do anything. Starting the day like this has been a game changer for my morning. For YEARS I’ve been guilty of snoozing over and over again and getting up with just enough time to throw my shit together + run out the door. A slow morning has been soooo good for my nervous system 😌 taken in Sonoma County by @kellysuttonfitness

What actually worked to grow my glutes 🍑🍑🍑

Training HARD with good exercise selection, eating to grow, progressive overload(cannot emphasize this enough), and time/patience😇

Growing the body+booty of your dreams takes timeeeee, so if you’re not where you want to be yet- be patient and keep training hard! You’ll be amazed how much progress you can make when you actually stay consistent with the basics

I help all my clients take the guesswork out of training hard, eating to grow, and building a body they’re freakin proud of😌

🔗 ïn b10 to get started🍑🍑🍑

Runners: you need to lift. But your strength training shouldn’t compete with your running. 🏃‍♀️💪

That’s why I created Run Strong — a 6-week strength program built specifically for runners and available on the LiftTrack app for Garmin users

🏋️ 3 full-body workouts/week
📈 Progressive overload
⌚️ Sync workouts directly to your Garmin
📝 Track weights + reps right on your wrist

No guessing what to do in the gym. Just show up, lift, get stronger, and get back to running.

If you want a plug-and-play strength program to support your running goals, this is a great place to start!

Run Strong is available now on LiftTrack through the App Store.

Reminder: Teenage you would absolutely lose her mind if she saw your life now❤️‍🔥💃🪩✈️🚵‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♀️🏂

It’s so easy to get lost in the sauce—always chasing the next goal, comparing your life to the highlight reels you see online, and forgetting just how far you’ve already come

Take a second today to look back instead of forward. Past you would be so damn proud of the badass woman you’ve become❤️

205 → 300 lbs on deadlift 🥹🔥

In October 2025, @nessmizla pulled 205 lbs for the first time and we were STOKED

Then she sent me a text that said: “I want to get a 300lb deadlift this winter”

And this morning… she fucking did THAT🥹💪🏼

I met Vanessa on a flight in February 2025. We followed each other on Instagram, and a few months later she reached out because she was curious about strength training. She works in the wine industry—winemaking + hospitality—and wanted to get stronger🏋️‍♀️

She started doing 1–2 sessions/month with me, quickly fell in love with lifting, joined GROW Strength Club, and started getting herself into the gym consistently 3x/week on her own😌

Vanessa didn’t need to completely overhaul her life to get stronger. She built strength training into the life she already loves🫶

She’s navigating a busy career in wine, harvest, a very full social life, and everything else life throws at her… while consistently showing up, eating an incredibly balanced diet, fueling herself well, and putting in the work.

She proves that you can work hard, get fucking strong, take care of yourself, AND still enjoy the fuck out of your life💃🍷🪩

You don’t have to choose between being disciplined and having fun. You can have badass fitness goals AND go live your life.

And sometimes that looks like pulling a 300-lb deadlift and immediately dancing afterward(or on the way down)😜

+95 lbs since that first 205

+95 lbs of strength, consistency, confidence, and a whole lot of fun

And being a silly goose while doing it? ✨priceless✨

So fucking proud of you, Vanessa🥹❤️

Unfortunately(and fortunately), who you are is a product of your daily habits…

if you stay up late, drink lots of alcohol, fill your body with crappy food, don’t move enough, and constantly seek instant gratification…. Your body and mind will reflect that ☠️

If you prioritize sleep, cut out(or at least substantially down) alcohol, eat nourishing foods, get daily movement, and set goals to work towards… your body and mind will reflect that 🤗

When I got serious about changing my habits and not being afraid to be different from my peers, my entire life changed. Are you living to please other people or to fill up your own cup? Do you even know what fills up your cup without the thought of pleasing other people?

PS there are sooooo many good non alcoholic beers, alcohol free wines and mocktails out there that you truly don’t have to miss out flavor in order to feel 10x better after a night out🤗

Skip the boozing and snoozing and start actually LIVINGGGGG💃🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏋️‍♀️🏔️🏂
