You’ve carried more than anyone knew. 🌸

Some of the strongest things you’ve ever done were quiet ones. The mornings you got up when everything felt heavy. The smile you wore while holding it all together. The battles no one saw. 🤍

☕️ Today, take a gentle moment to say: “I’m proud of you.” You made it through, and that’s worth celebrating. ✨

Be soft with yourself. You’re doing better than you think. 🦋

After upheaval, your body’s threat-detector can get stuck on high alert. It shows up disguised as self-doubt, but it’s not a character flaw — it’s dysregulation slowly settling back down. 🌱

The fix isn’t “just think positive” or push through with willpower. It’s grounding practices + time. Your body needs to feel safe again before your mind can catch up.

Be patient with yourself. You’re not broken — you’re recovering 💛

“What should I do now?” 🌱

🚫Not the first question to ask!

Because most of the self-doubt that shows up after a big life change isn’t about making the wrong choice — it’s about realizing your choices were built around someone else’s values - A partner’s. A family’s. A job’s.

Not yours.

So before you ask “what now,” ask this instead:

➡️What actually matters to me?

COMMENT “Values” and I’ll send you a worksheet to get started. 📝

That’s where clarity begins. ✨

October has been a month of extremes. There have been moments that were painful, unexpected, and deeply traumatizing, and moments of pure bliss, joy, and a gratitude I never saw coming. Somehow my heart has made room for both.

It has been a season of meaningful work. I’ve done more creative and professional writing than I have in a long time, and pouring myself into it has felt like coming home. I’ve been so honored to connect with the incredible women in my group, whose courage and openness inspire me every day. Rob’s work has brought its own unexpected challenges, and we’ve been walking through them side by side. We also celebrated a birthday, a wedding, and another anniversary, tender reminders that love keeps showing up, even in the hard seasons.

And then we lost our beloved Brinley; unexpectedly and tragically, she would have turned 15 in November. She was family, and her absence is felt in every corner of our home. We also lovingly found a new home for our rescue dog Koda, and I’m so thankful he’s with dear friends. Still, I’d be lying if I said I’m okay. I’m not. I’m grieving, and I’m learning to let that be true without apology.

In the middle of it all, I had time with two friends of 40 years in a place of breathtaking beauty. That time filled my soul exactly when my heart needed it most, and love and gratitude rose gently to the surface.

Our personal lives, along with the weight of the world, have felt like so much. There has been so much loss and hurt across the globe this month, and my heart aches for everyone carrying it. Yet in the midst of it all, I still see love, compassion, and hope. May we all show up and vote. May we see one another’s humanity. And may we live as neighbors, supporting each other and solving problems together.

To my parents, my husband, my friends, my kids, and my sisters: thank you. You have held this tender heart of mine through one of the hardest months of the year, and I am endlessly grateful for each of you.

Letting go of control masked as expectation 🌿

Which one hit home today?

⏳ The timeline you swore you’d hit by now

💭 “I should be further along already”

🙄 “They should be ___”

🔍 The need to know how it all works out

Growth doesn’t run on a schedule, and you’re allowed to be a work in progress. Take a deep breath, give yourself some grace, and let’s soften our grip together 💚

Tell me in the comments: which one are you releasing today? 👇

The talks. The tears.
The letting go.

The listening.
The holding space.

The calm, the peace, the quiet.

The view. The pause.
The laughs.🏝️

The vastness.

Four decades of friendship,
and here we are, still home to each other. 🫶🏼

The moon above, the sea below, a heart with room to let it flow. 🌊

All here. Nothing missing.

Filled with love & gratitude ☀️
