This is the second time I’ve won 🥇 an MMA fight yet my opponent’s hand gets raised instead of mine. In my opinion by poor judges decisions or “favoritism” if you will. I’m not a sore loser nor am I making excuses of any kind, simply stating the truth.

I’m not surprised, I knew if I didn’t finish this fight they wouldn’t give me the W. Could I have done better and won the second, absolutely, yet winning 2 out of 3 is still suppose to hold the weight. This is why I hold myself to a higher standard and expect myself to finish my opponents, and although close, I unfortunately didn’t.

It’s all good, I learned more about myself, had a wonderful experience in Riyadh and I’m still so grateful for the opportunity.

Food for thought, someone’s poor judgement of you doesn’t define who you are or what you’re capable of. Don’t let anyone or anything put you in a box or keep you down in any way. It is what it is and I’m more content with myself and my performance than I am with any judgements or poor decisions.

Keeping my head up y’all, thank you for the love and support! ❤️🙏🏽🥰✌🏽out Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 It was cool being the first woman in the cage with @leslie_vanderau 🫡

You miss one hundred percent of the shots you don’t take- Wayne Gretzky.

These photos are 10 years, 2 babies, 2 degrees, and a lot more unspoken challenges and life experiences apart.

During those years there was plenty of times, even a couple years, that I couldn’t do what I loved and watched or helped others on the sidelines.

I wasn’t sure I would even get another opportunity to ever compete in the sport again. Yet it’s never been just about that.

I trained every chance I could for me and my own mental health as I know martial arts is and always has been my emotional equalizer.

Do what makes you happy shoot your shot. On the days you can’t, prepare or rest for the ones you can.

Stay true to yourself, lean into clarity of mind and positive relationships that keep you lifted even if you never get that second chance, at least you can die living.

@heroesoutdoortherapy thank you for providing me with another outlet and passion to maintain a positive state of mental health and being.

Connecting with the outdoors and other veterans is truly a gift 🎁 looking forward to today!

The Show Stopper @kelseydesantis.
•••••••••••
It’s never easy to walk into enemy territory, but for a Marine that’s just another day in the office. @kelseydesantis stayed composed throughout the first round and found an opening to earn herself the TKO.

Show Kelsey some love in the comments and let her know if you are rocking with her.

TY @kelseydesantis for the great work and advice today 🫶🏻💪 What an amazing, wonderful surprise to see you in training today 🙌

I train 99% with men, and I am very blessed to have amazing training partners 🙏 But on the rare occasion that I have a tough, athletic amazing female training partner, I am overjoyed 💃💪 Plus Kelsey is an all around amazing human 🙏

And I always loved that the walls at @mmascienceacademy prominently feature strong female champions. I have always found that inspiring.

TY @troythefighterguy & @rogerdkrahl for creating such a great training environment, I really appreciate you guys 🙏

Big Buck Down! USMC Veteran and MMA fighter Kelsey DeSantis put the smack down on this beautful pronghorn after an exhilarating spot and stock with the @area419official 6.5 creed.

She also did some MMA mentoring with my son and his friend, inspiring them to keep training. No doubt the will remember that the rest of their lives. Thank you!

Leave vengeance in God’s hands 🙏🏽 💯 You don’t have to waste the fire 🔥 and fuel it gives you…

Find a healthy channel. Turn the hurt into gasoline and use it to build something positive: your strongest mind, your healthiest body, your deepest peace, and your best life.

Let kindness, hope, and faith guide you, not bitterness.

No revenge. Just God's plan, purpose, and becoming your best self. 🤍🙏🏼 Stay hopeful, keep going better days always come, even after the longest storms.

Another great ladies seminar 🥷🖤🥊

What an incredible Saturday at King’s Muay Thai. Huge thank you to @grettavitta for bringing all these badass women together 🔥👏🏽

We had an amazing turnout, incredible energy, and these ladies absolutely CRUSHED IT! 👊🏽

This is exactly what these events are about: women showing up, learning real world safety skills/defenses, challenging themselves, supporting each other, and continuing to evolve ❤️

I’m so excited to keep building and to see where we take the next evolution of women’s training. 💪🥋

To every woman who stepped on the mats, thank you for bringing the energy and trusting us to be part of your training.

Keep showing up. Keep training. Keep evolving.

Love y’all. 🖤
