we’ve been keeping a secret 🤫…
SAMUI - WE’RE HOME!!! 🇹🇭

so back in 2025, we booked flights back home to thailand.
we kept it a secret for months & months even when @lisa_samui was literally asking us last week to come for songkran this weekend.

we landed in bangkok on Thursday night and have been in hiding, we then landed in samui and lay low this morning.

we’ve just turned up on our motorbikes in sunglasses & hats as a disguise at lisa’s house/restaurant.

THE BEST SURPRISE AND SECRET EVER!!!!

I would highly recommend flying to Paris for two nights, 33° heat, almost 60,000 steps and seeing the Eiffel Tower approx. 400 times… just to see @celinedion whilst wearing a titanic t-shirt.

another ticked off the bucket list.

ps. thanks @gemsavvv for videoing my heart will go on as i sobbed x taken in Paris by @kelseystarlight

in the words of @ladygaga: “six whole years”

happy 6th anniversary to my little love bug.
🩵

considering we only went for a “mate date” in 2020, I’d say we’re doing quite well for ourselves.

I love you and I love doing this crazy adventure called ‘life’ with you.

tao pt2. 🌴💚

honestly? one of the best weeks of my life:
incredible sunsets every night, so many memories made with our tao family, tasty food, being in the ocean all day every day, basically living at the cabaret show for a week, sober nights literally laughing until we peed (🦒👀), massages on the beach, parting until sunrise, late night dinners, paddle boarding, swimming with fish, boat trips, beach front hotels, one of THE best matchas I’ve ever tasted, us all crying on our last night to then crying as we left the next afternoon…

…the list goes on.
I wish I could press rewind and relive it all over again. 🥹 taken in Koh Tao by @kelseystarlight

A GoPro Video Diary of our Tao Family snorkel trip around the island;
aka us hungover renting a private boat, me diving down to the bottom to see the THREE turtles(!!!) we saw in different spots and life jacket & snorkel cabaret style entertainment the entire trip.

all in all, THE best day

the first four nights in samui consisted of;
songkran, sunsets, sunburn, beachfront huts, pool days, motorbike rides, deserted beaches, reunion with my samui family and @lisa_samui’s khao soi.

Yesterday marked ONE WHOLE YEAR since I had my hysterectomy and said goodbye to my pre-womb cancer!
One whole year since I got my new, weird, post-surgery belly button, along with four new scars.
One whole year today, I came home after my operation and started my 10 week initial recovery.
One whole year since I became;
- womb-less
- uterus-less
- cervix-less
- and fallopian tube-less.

To many women, this may seem like the end of their world, the end of their womanhood.
However, as most people know, I am not a normal person, this has actually made me feel more powerful and that my womanhood has actually levelled up.
My diagnosis at 31 years of age was obviously a shock, however now, at 33, it has given me such a new sense of freedom, life and adventure.

I can’t stress enough, to everyone who owns a vagina and internal female organs… please check your vagina and vulva.

Gynae Cancers are often thought as a taboo subject, something we, as women, shouldn’t talk about… and we totally should!
If something doesn’t look or feel right, get it checked out and/or seek medical advice ASAP, if you don’t feel enough has been done, continue to push until you get the tests and results you wanted.
Gynae Cancers are some of the most under funded & only 7% of research funding goes to these types of cancers (what a surprise 🙄).
Currently in the UK, there are 22,050+ cases of gynae cancer every year, 60 women are diagnosed each day and 21 women die from their diagnosis each day.

A few minutes of feeling uncomfortable and embarrassment can quite simply save your life, just as it did mine.

My inbox is always open to anyone worried or struggling with anything to do with this post.
And if you see this post at a time in your life where you are worried about something to do with your health; please take this as your sign to do something about it.

Peace, Love & Vulvas.

15 days ago my little best friend, my beautiful Grandma unexpectedly passed away at almost 97 years old.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to find the words to express the heartbreak and emptiness I have felt & continue to feel since the day she left. My heart is absolutely broken.

Grief is such a weird concept, I understand that “grief is love that has nowhere to go”, but this love does have somewhere to go and that’s to my Grandma.

She was the most sassy, sarcastic and funny person I have ever encountered (definitely where I get it from), yet at the same time, so loving and warm, one of my safe places.
Everybody who was lucky enough to meet her would to tell me how “cute” she is.
Above all, she was the most strong, determined and bravest person I’ve met.
She was all of this, always with a cup of tea next to her.

She loved to travel & explore new cultures and countries - again, a strong trait that she has passed down to me, as-well as being a night owl up until 1am (or later) every night - another trait passed down to me.
She spent her time learning new languages, as well as teaching herself how to use her smartphone and WhatsApp, FaceTiming when I’m on my travels.

I’m still struggling to navigate my life without her in it, simple things like remembering to not buy her favourite chocolate and flowers in the shop every time I go, remembering not to phone her and update her on my life.

I miss our chats in her living room that always lasted hours, having fish & chips, Chinese or Indian at any given moment but then fighting over who would pay for the food, and her having a sneaky shandy when we’d go out for a meal.
Most of all I miss our little jokes and always having three kisses on the cheek and “get home safe, pet”, before telling her to NOT to come to the window to wave me off, yet knowing I’d have to wait around before driving off, because she’d somehow always make it to window to wave me off.

I will spend the rest of my life missing her and having an empty, vacant place in my heart that nothing will fill.

If love could have saved my Grandma, she would have lived forever.

Until we meet again
