yesterday at 11:11 am we said goodbye to my mom. my best friend. my biggest supporter. at the beginning of the year she was diagnosed with stage four cancer. after being diagnosed and going through chemo, she broke her hip and femur in july. while trying to recover from that, she developed pneumonia. so much had happened in such a short time, her body just couldn’t keep up anymore. she fought like hell with everything she had. she was a warrior. she fought until her very last moments. and was her sassy self until the end too.

there are no words to express the pain, heartbreak, and body aching grief i feel in losing my mommy, my best friend, my partner in crime. this doesn’t feel real. i am so grateful that she was able to spend time knowing her first grandson, and i will make sure that he always remembers how much his nana just adored him. i find comfort knowing that she is reunited with my dad, the love of her life and her own mom who she lost so young.

everything i do now will be for you mommy. i know you’ll be watching over us and keeping an extra eye on Lincoln. i will sing his song to him every morning for you. i love you and i miss you my angel. tell me when i get there.

please keep my family in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. 🤍 by @kelsiiib

i will never be able to get out the right words for you. no amount of time with you would have ever been enough. everything you did for us is forever appreciated and created a legacy of your name that will live on in our family and community forever. i will never be the same without you, i know none of us will. you are the first love of my life, my best friend, my daddy, and will live within me in memories of pure happiness and joy. i appreciate having so many wonderful times with you but long to have so many more. it’s no question you were taken from me too soon. it’s just not fair. but i know you would tell me to overcome this with the strength you gave me. this is the hardest thing i have ever faced. thank you for being my angel on earth and now beyond. i wish i could hear your voice one last time. until we meet again handsome man. 🤍 “you were one of those classic ones, alright. you’re a legend in my own mind.” by @kelsiiib

twenty one pilots will forever hold a huge piece of my heart. it’s especially meaningful getting to share that love with my husband and best friend, and knowing that enjoying their music was something i got to share with both of my parents. show number 11 in the books and it was the best one yet. they outdo themselves every single time |-/ #twentyønepiløts #columbusohio by @kelsiiib

i truly can’t believe i got to marry the man of my dreams. i will spend the rest of my life wondering when i’ll wake up. this day was everything i could’ve imagined. i still can’t fathom my 7th grade crush put a ring on it 🤭 i will love you ’til we’re food for the worms to eat🤍
