🎁📚 :) Just In Time #ForTheHolidays 📖✨
•
-> Grateful to announce “Mourning with Jubilee” & “The Troubled Contemplation” are *officially* in a Barnes & Noble “near you”, but currently exclusively signed at the Studio City B&N (LA, CA)!
•
-> S/o to Christopher D.S.P., author of “The World is Burning & I’m Late for Work”, for these shots and the warm welcome. (Also did a YouTube Live so interested folks can go check that out via my bio!)

People often ask me, “What type of music do you have out?” @YouTubeMusic currently answered that question for me. YT Premium cutely curates a “radio” based off a song’s vibes. One day I noticed mine. They’re giving “new playlist” goals. I ponder what vibes will be channeled next…🎵

Thanks again for B-Day love last Monday 11.24 🥹 I’ve been burnt out so I’m super delayed on responses, but please know the love is real, energetically-reciprocated, & major appreciated. Welcoming freshness & rejuvenation 2026 ✨🙏🏾

On the darkest days, I’d walk, so I make sure to do so on bright ones too.

-> After handling some business, my patriarch and I chose an impromptu side-quest: walk the Brooklyn Bridge. He’s never done so and I haven’t in over a decade. At sunset, the views were a movie-worthy occurrence. Igor, the kindly photog, caught me capturing the moment (Sl.5) and I’m grateful he did!😌 I’m if “stressed, depressed, but well-dressed” was a person lmaoo 🤣🖤 Today is Oct.10th which is national Mental Health Day. Walking is one of my fave coping skills; I do it for fun or I do it to calm feelings. It’s good for body and brain - 10/10 recommend a good walk. (Taking photos is a fun plus!) If you’re feeling low or just need a change of scenery, put on a cute-but-comfy outfit and go walk someplace you never have before. Never know ~who or what~ you’ll ~see and meet~ along the way 👟✨

✨Wake me up when September ends✨
•••
I was making room for new things and found this video. Old to me, fresh for you :) To my NY’ers, “Yerrrrr,” and to my Angelenos, “Hiyeeeee.” I’ve met so many new folks on this journey out West so it felt like prime time to share a mini [re-]introduction. This is all footage from 2023! #thevault My storage won’t let me hoard anymore and that’s great for here I guess 😂 To the ones that have been here, I’m just cookin’, trying to prep new offerings for all while acclimating to a new ~zone~❣️. To the newbies: I’m not on here much nowadays but I’ll be sharing again soon so stay ready!🌸 2024 flicks incoming (probably by 2025 LOL). Until then & As always: take care of yourselves, drink your water, and remember whose you are. Bless ✨❣️

The “janet.” album ~made~ my life.
~
I was about 4y/o when I *knew* I wanted to be as fab an artist as Janet Jackson one day. 5/18/1993, 27yr. old Ms. J.J. dropped her titular album and today the Queen is 58. Almost half a solar year into 27 myself (circa 11/24/96), I wanted to share flowers to a living inspiration, aspiration, and motivation. Thank you for creating - your art has birthed many of us 🙏🏾✨

Needed space from the interwebs but wanted to return with gratitude towards artists. To Akira, thank you for appreciating and blessing with your talent, pure and unprompted. You stir the soul in a special way.

What are you willing to do for freedom? #HappyJuneteenth
✨ For me, it was flying across the country willing to survive a slum to save my soul. Thank God - He guided me the whole way and this healing has been p r i c e l e s s !
🔸 See, when you move in alignment, it may not feel easy but it will certainly feel right. It’s so powerful, you will change other hearts along the way; inspire people to “do something they have never done” just because your step is so secure (can I get an Amen!?). The faith leap I’d taken nearly four exact months ago has been profound to say the least. I shan’t disclose all yet - incubating still - but let *this* be a sign or some motivation to take that good plunge! (The same way a wave plunged me into the sea while somehow keeping me from being concussed by the rocks😅🙏🏾 *flashbacks of Pia in “Black Mirror” (#spoileralert kinda)*)
💎 Go do the thing babe - someone or something got you ! 🤎 & yes, in the end #wecamethrough.
📸@_JennaBack chewed this #impromptuphotoshoot - bless!
