FASHION WEEK BTS w/ GBADEBO

It’s a weird feeling when months & months of work finally comes to an end in just 20 minutes. In one breath you’re soaking up the achievement and in the next you’re being asked “what’s next?”…

Truthfully, I didn’t even know this was something I could do to begin with. So to assume I’d know what comes next, when God has always been in control, is laughable.

Gbadebo has always been about more than clothes. It’s about the people behind them and the stories they hold. Clothing is just a vehicle for those memories, taking witness to every high, every low & in this case.. getting a better second life than they bargained for.

Thankyou to an amazing team @jozephineee @sooodulce @saintblck_ who are always ready to back my last minute plans & deliver beyond what I know is capable.

GBADEBO presents ‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱’ LOOKBOOK

The Playground is my exploration of British streetwear codes through a tailored, feminine and playful lens. I deconstruct and reconstruct vintage garments, reimagining familiar streetwear tropes through craftsmanship, proportion and unexpected details.

My studio has become my figurative playground. A space where I’ve rediscovered the freedom to experiment and play through my medium. This collection reflects that feeling: bringing the innocence and spontaneity of play into a more mature, tailored world, whilst deliberately blurring the lines between polished and informal.
