To all the great friends and Dad’s I’ve had the privilege of being with. Knowing you before you even became Dad’s. Some may have never become dads. I don’t care. I honor you irregardless. Few men of the earth have been “spiritual” men striving to look more like Heaven, than this destructive earth! It’s not always easy. But you kept your heads looking up and knees to the ground. You still have years ahead too. Pls pray a prayer from time to time for me, as I have for you. Be a better you today and tomorrow than your yesterdays, when you read this.

If a father today, I hope you are honored and remembered by your kids and family for leading and having a caring heart. I honor all your 🙏🏼sacrifices. Leading is always sacrificial and not easy. And I have a fav quote I said in the pulpit a lot:
If you want to avoid criticism? Do nothing! Say nothing! And be Nothing. But if you wish to be a leader, critics will never cease to be! And only the Lord, ultimately is your Audience of ONE!

Sad what makes zero sense to me. I just must be too Southern Man to believe the intolerance of illegals is openly celebrated and fought over while these images never become “click bait”’on Tik Tok or liberal media outlets. Sorry Neil Young, guess I’m busted. Same for you Bruce Springsteen and your public comments too. Being from the South doesn’t mean:”Well you must be a racist bigot!”. Stop the gaslighting of lies. Look into the history of the Democratic Party and find the source of the racist and Klan so easily being tossed around like fertilizer on the lawn. I’d say the majority of people I grew up in high school in 1970-73 were some of the most colorblinded generation around, bc of what we saw happening all around us. They still are. But ICE isn’t about race. It’s about POWER! Voting power no matter what form it comes in! So save yourself negatively firing back over this post. I don’t want these who broke federal law on the streets of America. And a Higher Power will one day reap judgement on your souls. We have all sinned and fall short of the Glory of God! However, I don’t have to accept your broken law freedoms here in America yet bc of cultural differences. Nations without LAWS TO FOLLOW end up in chaos. And so if you wish to end the street arrests and violence and mishaps them OBEY and hold them in custody and let ICE detain them in your jails and without riots. by @kenbourg

Charlie Kirk and the American Constitutional Crisis

Charlie Kirk dedicated his life to upholding the principles of the Constitution, particularly the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of speech. He stood firm in his belief that open dialogue in the public square is essential, even as others sought to suppress his voice and instill fear in those who speak freely. His commitment to these values was unwavering, despite opposition from those who sought to silence dissenting opinions.

Charlie prioritized his faith in Christ above all else. His convictions as a follower of Jesus were not a marketing tool to advance conservative ideals but a genuine reflection of his Biblical worldview. He shared the belief of the nation’s founders in the existence of a Creator and framed his life through a biblical perspective. He opposed secular humanism, Marxist ideologies, and values that contradicted Christian teachings. Charlie championed biblical principles, including the belief in the Divine creation of man and woman, rejecting notions of evolutionary origins or alternative gender identities. He adhered to the teachings of Scripture, which he viewed as timeless and foundational. And championed the belief in a Providential Sovereign All-Knowing, All Powerful and Ever Present God, that birthed a Judeo-Christian nation.

Charlie was not aligned with any political cult or personality. He rejected the hypocrisy of those who demand freedom of expression while simultaneously calling for the prevention of censorship of opposing views. He criticized the celebration of political threats and violence, as well as the vilification of individuals based on ideological differences. He believed in the rule of law and condemned actions that undermined constitutional principles, including threats against Supreme Court justices and the promotion of anarchy disguised as protest…. by @kenbourg

Love these truths! And as a Dad listen to the whole song! Worth that extra “slow drawl” & “stopping to listen” before you swipe up. “Swipe up” or “Swipe Rt. or Left” seems the NEW norm! Seems EVERYTHING & EVERYONE is in a huge hurry and running on Ritalin! ADHD wasn’t a term when I was growing up. No instant coffee till years later! No Microwaves! No dishwaters! I was the dishwasher! No dryers! I had to hang them up with clothes pins. No multiple channels anytime in place you wanted! Nope! Missed a show, sorry because there was no DVR (before VHS recorder)! And one car per family that was parked by mom more than away from home and her children because she found value in being a term we don’t have either - “stay home mom”. They all stayed home. We had multiple aunties! And they all watched and called your real Mom if you were out of line. Time seemed to once be a bit slower and more about the quality of the people you were with. Rushing to get from one place to get to another, jsut wasn’t the norm. Sunday and sunsets made stores and merchants shops closed. And you planned accordingly. You made “family” and neighborhoods about the people and not as much as about an isolated construct internally as much. People dropped by unannounced and coffee was made, to slow down the visit and catch up on their lives. If your reading this, and remembering this, then you were a child of the 50’s. I can’t imagine what the pace was long before me. But I can say, they likely made lots of pots of coffee when a wagon visitor rolled up. Because the people they loved would grow up and move on. So read this and take a breath and ask Heaven to teach you these truths and not only read them but begin to apply them. Teach your child well, that they can grow by! Some words from a song: from the 70’s called “Teach Your Children” has hints of truth woven with weird. But it’s does have some brilliance. One being-TIME!

Just bc some people don’t like a personality, they’ll take far worse in leadership. I guess some folks (as the saying goes) “They’ll cut their nose to spite their face!”. And they love inflation,, open borders, gang violence and wars. It’s all gonna be about joy and change on the other side. Hope this is the change, we go back to instead of the one we have! by @kenbourg
