This past month has been challenging to say the least— between Covid and major life changes— but I’m glad to see some good come out of it, like this article I wrote which is now live. What a wonderful gift to wake up to— super proud of this one. Special thank you to @ericapaigesloan for giving me this opportunity and ever grateful to @angela.amias, Adam Blum @gaytherapycenter, and Dr. Kelsey Latimer @kmlpsychologicalservices for their amazing expert insights. 🙏🏽🖤 by @kendall.keith

Bestie appreciation post!!!
I’m sad my bestie is moving away so here is just a glimpse of some of the amazing work we’ve produced together over the years — the fashion editorials and magazine tearsheets in our early years to creating content and campaigns for some of the most incredible brands I’ve ever worked for — I’m so grateful for you @sasha.m.sheldon! Couldn’t have done life without you and am excited for you with what you next have in store! Forever your muse boo! Love you soul sister @sasha.m.sheldon 💕💕💕 by @kendall.keith

It’s 2021, Daria is in her 30s, and Brittany unexpectedly moves in.

Meet the newest addition to the family, Winnie (sometimes I call her Guinevere too)!! Dad gets special privileges to call her Peaches, lol. 🐱

I found her inside a car wheel well, while on the way to a doctor’s appointment, when she was 1-2 days old (unfortunately, mom passed, and there were no other kittens).

Nursing a neonatal orphan kitten is not for the faint of heart. It requires around the clock care (feeding and stimulating her every 2-3 hours), patience, and dedication…otherwise, she wouldn’t survive (or be put down if I turned her in). The experience strangely reminded me of when I was caretaking for my mom in her final days…except in this instance, it was to keep this little life in this world—and I’m so glad I did.

I had every intention of only fostering her, but seeing her blossom, bond with Lily, and our own budding relationship, made me realize she was already home. This little orange ball is a light at a time that often feels incredibly bleak. 🖤🧡

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped me & gave me fostering advice along the way in making sure this kitten not only survived, but thrived. I’m so grateful. Here she is now, 10 weeks old—full of life and orange as hell. 😂 She’s gonna be alright. 🥹

*loves a Gettyful summer* 🏛️🖼️🎭

There’s so much good stuff happening at the @gettymuseum!

Instante/revelación: Moments in Mexican Photography and Every Minute Is History: Five Views of Los Angeles are absolutely worth the trip. The latter, especially, offers a gorgeous, intimate look at the City of Angels through the eyes of five Mexican photographers working during the height of the Chicano Movement— Los Angeles not as backdrop, but as lived history.

And then there’s Antigone at the Villa. GO. SEE. IT. 👏🏽

Reimagining Sophocles’ tragedy in pre-Conquest Tenochtitlan could have felt like a conceit; instead, it feels almost inevitable. The world of the play slips beautifully into the questions Antigone has always asked: Who gets to make the law? What do we owe the dead? And what happens when moral conviction collides with the authority of the state?

Turns out a 2,400-year-old Greek tragedy still has plenty to say. Funny how that keeps happening. 😏

Huge congratulations to @latinotheaterco! They were fantastic. Fun fact— they’re based in DTLA! 😎

As always, thank you to the Getty for continuing to include me in these amazing opening affairs. 🖤 taken in Getty Villa by @kendall.keith
