It was a special feeling to pick up the check from the “Rise Again” fundraiser and drive it straight over to the @flintridgecenter yesterday. It felt like I was carrying everyone who participated in the event’s collective love and energy, fueled by the best of intentions. The $6500 check was well received by the team at @flintridgecenter . It was nice to visit the office in Pasadena and get a feel for all of the good work they are doing for the Eaton Fire victims and community year around. They are wonderful people, who send their deepest gratitude for the proceeds we were able to raise together, on their behalf. We will continue to do what we can to uplift our community, as it will take some time to rebuild. However, we are here for the long haul.💯🚚💨
Again, much love and thanks to everyone involved, as well as the team at the @moroccanlounge . The images and videos don’t say it all, but they do say a lot. Such telling reflections of a beautiful event and time, with so many friends whom have been dancing with us for years. It was an absolute honor and pleasure for my brother @jeremysole and myself to merge our creative endeavors ( @lefriquesonique and @deeplosangeles ) for positive impact on the community. Let’s keep that Angeleno love flowing towards those in need. ❤️🌊

Last Saturday’s “Rise Again” fundraiser for the wildfire victims was a glowing reflection of true Angeleno spirit, love, support and resilience. Together, @deeplosangeles and @lefriquesonique raised $6500 for the @flintridgecenter , whom have been channeling their resources towards the Eaton fire victims since it began. We can’t thank those who chose to donated and dance with us enough. The love and healing frequencies were present. Special thanks to the @moroccanlounge for facilitating such a special event and @muita_muthee (📸) and @pogodavisuals for donating their creative talents to the cause. Major gratitude to @bigceezey & @tafaraibayne holding it down, so the maestros could do their thing! Much love for the vids @shangocolibri333_ & @la_hairstylist_artist 🫶🏾
It’s going to be a long road to rebuild, but we’ll get there together.
WE LOVE YOU LA!❤️ Sincerely, Marques & Jeremy! 🙏🏾🙏🏻

Had an amazing and much needed good time at the @landmanpplus premiere last night! Made friends with @kendall.keith and hung with @unsolicitedthepodcast while enjoying the new series. It’s a fantastically gripping show. But—BUT

One thing I really want to impart to all of you is how important it will be to have fun and be in spaces together with the people you love before January 20th. I’m not catastrophizing—remember a few months into Covid when we were all lamenting not having done the things we wanted. I’m not saying we will be trapped in our houses, but I certainly do not think things are going to be chill and if the past few days of idiotic appointees hasn’t stressed you out I promise you won’t be able to ignore it then. I’ll write more about this soon. ❤️ Keep your head up. I’m here for you.
