The Squat
Aggressive but yet somehow calm at the same time, Not one time did I feel like I was on a platform.
It was just another lifting day for me.

Over a year I spent chasing a 300lb squat. I used to look at the girls who could and say “I can’t wait till I can do that”

I failed all 3 squat attempts at BOTB in February and got DQd for the first time. The humiliation in myself was enough to light a fire and make a promise to make a change and do better.

Then I broke 303, 314 and finally 325 all within a 4 week time frame leading up to this meet.

I fought hard for that shit. Grateful doesn’t even begin to explain it.
