everything is always changing
all the time
and it’s good to pause
let a heart really feel it
so sure, I’ll cry on the floor
of my old office for a bit
thank the space
bless it
may this room continue
to be a place of love and healing
always ♾️❤️❤️❤️ by @kendra_crowfields

tired and happy after a weeklong adventure - a @sustenancewritingcommunity poetry retreat that made my heart explode, some camping in Olympic NP, and my first Canadian adventure. I’m drowning in laundry and love now 💗 by @kendra_crowfields

When I tell people I write poetry, I often get asked if I’m working on a book. Historically, I’ve shrugged off the question with some ambivalence. But, something is shifting. I’m feeling inspired by fellow @sustenancewritingcommunity members who have published. Note to self *put yourself in places where you feel a little uncomfortable, a little out of your league. Both of these collections are stunning. Click the pic for links to their accounts and order their books! by @kendra_crowfields

Most evenings, I’ve been walking at sunset to visit the Camas Lillies. We’ve had seas of them for weeks now. I’m thinking about how I wrote of them last fall when my heart was heavy with grief and fear, knowing they would rise again and so would I. And here I am, and here they are, with heart clear and bright and strong. 💜 by @kendra_crowfields
