What a wonderful weekend we had celebrating Matt and Jillian. They are a beautiful couple inside and out. Phi Phi Island, Thailand. Who knew it was pronounced “P P”? This was a trek to get there. We flew into Phuket, which was also amazing, took a two hour ferry to get to the island and then took a longboat to get to our hotel. Our luggage was transported via a tractor connected to a trailer. There are no roads on the island so longboats are the mode of transportation. It was spectacular! by @kendrahall33

Bangkok, Thailand was a massive bustling city! There are street markets everywhere, including one that has a train go right through it! China Town had the best street food! We stayed on the Chao Phraya River and got to see all the sites along the river, one being the Iconsium Mall. They take mall food to a whole other level! I’ve never seen anything like it, all in an upscale mall with all designer stores. We ventured out of the city to the floating markets and the elephants. We packed in a lot, lucky thing there’s matcha everywhere. by @kendrahall33

Vietnam was filled with great food, great shopping, thousands of scooters, parks full of exercise equipment with early risers to avoid the heat, and the best massages on every corner. Who doesn’t need a daily massage? @1koolpop33 by @kendrahall33

Phi Phi Island, Thailand fire show on the beach!! I got a little “preshow” from Chris and the table lamp🤣 and they let us try our luck at the end.

We were able to experience the Cu Chi Tunnels outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The tunnels had several levels underground with their own hospitals, living quarters, hidden entrances, and storage facilities. The opening and the tunnels themselves were very narrow. Chris couldn’t get his shoulders through the hidden opening. They were used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War as well as the locals. The farmers worked the land by day and helped build the tunnels by night using shrapnel as tools. They showed the traps/torture devices which were horrifying. It’s hard to believe the Vietnam War lasted nearly 20 years, so horrible. by @kendrahall33
