POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
My baking journey began during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Schools were shut down, ASUU was on strike, and it felt like the perfect time to learn a skill.
Through a family friend, I was introduced to a baker who agreed to train me. I trained for about two to three months before ASUU called off the strike. That meant my baking training had to come to an abrupt pause.
Once school resumed, academic demands took over, and I never had the opportunity to go back and complete my training.
So, I built my business on the little I had learned. Looking back, it has been one of the most fulfilling decisions I’ve ever made. But deep down, I always knew the knowledge I had wasn’t enough to take my business to where I envisioned it. I wanted more—not because what I knew wasn’t valuable, but because I knew where God was taking Beltel Cakes.
I don’t just want to own a bakery. I want to build an exceptional one—a business with capacity, excellence, and systems that will stand the test of time.
For years, I dreamed of training at @bakhitas_academy It was a desire I carried quietly because the resources to make it happen always seemed out of reach.
Last year, I even applied for a scholarship to train at the academy. I wasn’t selected. It was disappointing, but I refused to let that be the end of the story. The dream was still alive—I just had to trust God’s timing.
This year, I made a decision: I would do everything within my power to make that dream a reality.
I wasn’t lucky. It took years of persistence, disappointments, waiting, praying, sacrificing, and refusing to let go of the vision God placed in my heart.
And even when the opportunity finally came, it wasn’t without challenges. My NYSC Passing Out Parade (POP) date clashed with the start of my training, so I resumed class three days after the program had already begun. Immediately after my POP, I packed my bags and left for training. Every sacrifice was worth it. What once felt like a distant dream is now my reality—a reminder that delayed doesn’t mean denied. I’m deeply grateful to God for preparing me, making a way, ordering my steps, and bringing this dream to life in His perfect timing. by @kendukeke__

A month ago, I officially passed out of NYSC. 🎉

What a journey it has been.

Looking back, I can only say that God carried me in ways I never imagined. Through every challenge, every lesson, every opportunity, and every moment of growth, His hands were evident.

I’m grateful for the people I met, the experiences that shaped me, and the person I’ve become through this season.

NYSC is over, but the journey ahead is just beginning. Here’s to new doors, greater purpose, and all that God has prepared. by @kendukeke__

I spent my day cooking for family, friends, and the community. This has been a tradition for years now and honestly… I never look forward to it because it’s always exhausting.
BUT there’s a special joy that comes with cooking with family and friends. You’re making memories, building inside jokes, and creating stories I’ll definitely tell my children. And there will be proper division of labour, plenty fried meat, and cold juice at the end of the day.

Through this experience, my mum has taught me how to cook in large quantities with quality ingredients, and every year the food turns out to be a banger 😂

Just take a look at this beauty.

In other news, I’m available for bookings. by @kendukeke__

This year’s theme, “AI & Education – Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation,” reminds us that while technology continues to revolutionize learning, the heart of education remains human.

At Impact 360 Africa, we believe that education is more than just acquiring knowledge—it’s about empowering individuals, building stronger communities, and ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of learning. This video highlights the power of education to transform lives, the crucial role of teachers, and the urgent need to bridge gaps in underserved communities.

As AI reshapes the educational landscape, we remain committed to preserving the human touch, ensuring that technology serves as a tool to enhance learning rather than replace the values of creativity, empathy, and critical thinking that make education truly impactful.

Join us in celebrating the power of education and advocating for a future where innovation and humanity go hand in hand.
