LIVING MY DREAMS! Benching 225 has always been a dream of mine. As a young trans boy, I’d always marvel at the big dudes in the gym benching with 4 plates on each side, it felt impossible at the time. 6 months of discipline. No alcohol, lifting 5-6x a week, fueling my body properly, and prioritizing my health.
I was very depressed going into 2026- no confidence or belief in myself. I was never pushing outside of my comfort zone.
Weightlifting changed that for me. As dramatic as it sounds, its reignited a passion for life I haven’t felt in a while. I’ve learned how much I’m capable of when I actually get uncomfortable, take accountability for my life, and consistently show up.
The physical progress is cool, but the mental progress is what I’m most proud of.
I’ve never been this strong in my life! So excited to see where another 6 months takes me🖤 I’ll be benching 225 for reps by the end of the year, just wait! 😤😤😤
