I haven’t been back for a whole 10 years 🇨🇳

Among a lot of things that I did this trip, I asked my parents and my extended family to take me to my great grandparents place in Hangzhou. I used to hate stories of how things used to be as a kid but suddenly it’s the most interesting thing ever. Last couple of photos are of the house my great grandpa constructed with his brothers and the last one is a picture of him.

It was bitter sweet spending time with my extended family. I felt guilty being welcomed with such open arms when I haven’t really been in contact with them for so long. But I guess that’s what family is sometimes. After hanging out with my cousins one on one I got to share our struggles. Was a bit of a moment for me because it felt like I was graduating from being the baby of the family. (But am still willing to be the baby if I get free bubble tea 🤩) by @kenny.yu3

Dammmmm 2022 has been one roller coaster of a year and it’s been a hell of a ride.

Although it’s been rough, this year has pushed me to learn so much more about myself. Outside of all the glam and fun trips I’ve been on, a lot of my time has been spent reflecting and looking inwards which has genuinely been hard.

But it has been worth it, I’m now happier than I’ve ever been. I’ve accomplished goals I would’ve considered impossible in the past.

Thanks to all those who’ve helped me along the way, I really can’t express how grateful I am to have you all in my life.

I don’t have a lot to ask for next year. All I can say is that I welcome whatever it brings and look forward to seeing myself grow even more. by @kenny.yu3
