I haven’t been back for a whole 10 years 🇨🇳

Among a lot of things that I did this trip, I asked my parents and my extended family to take me to my great grandparents place in Hangzhou. I used to hate stories of how things used to be as a kid but suddenly it’s the most interesting thing ever. Last couple of photos are of the house my great grandpa constructed with his brothers and the last one is a picture of him.

It was bitter sweet spending time with my extended family. I felt guilty being welcomed with such open arms when I haven’t really been in contact with them for so long. But I guess that’s what family is sometimes. After hanging out with my cousins one on one I got to share our struggles. Was a bit of a moment for me because it felt like I was graduating from being the baby of the family. (But am still willing to be the baby if I get free bubble tea 🤩)
