Not every dance has to tell a heavy story. Sometimes a dance just makes you smile.

Dream of Me was one of those pieces for me. It was playful, full of personality, and reminded me that dancing can be just as much about joy as it is about emotion. Every time I got to perform it, it felt like a chance to simply have fun on stage. Set to the timeless voices of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, this dance was impossible not to fall in love with.

What made this dance even more special was the person behind it. @baileymutschler_ has been part of my dance journey since I was 9 years old, and she’s been one of my biggest cheerleaders every step of the way. As our PrePro Director, she pours so much of herself into every dancer. She celebrates our successes, encourages us through the hard days, and somehow always knows exactly what we need to hear.

She’s the person quietly working behind the scenes, never looking for recognition, but making a difference in more lives than she’ll probably ever realize.

Thank you for believing in me, for challenging me, and for creating a dance that I’ll always smile when I think about.

Here’s one last performance of Dream of Me. 🤍✨

🎵 Music: Dream a Little Dream of Me – Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong by @kennykate303

Some dances become more than choreography.

This one challenged me, pushed me, and taught me so much this season. Every time I stepped on stage it meant something a little different.

So here’s the full video. 🤍

Thank you @berkley.pegram for believing in me, pushing me to grow, and sharing your incredible artistry. Thank you for helping me bring this piece to life. 🤍

Forever grateful for Ballad for the Broken.
