Aftershock 2026!! Festivals swing hard, but we were swinging harder. It’s bittersweet that this one is over. I’m going to miss my bridge stage. I always get to work with incredible bands, but this weekend was extra special because nearly every band I had on my stage I am a big fan of and listen to on a regular basis. Some of the bands I have been listening to since high school. It’s literally a dream come true. I get to walk away with memories, new friends, and new career opportunities.

I had a lot of repeat bands on this festival too. Some of them would come up to me and say how they were genuinely excited to have me as their stage manager again, because I always made it a smooth day. That’s not to brag, because trust me, the imposter syndrome is big for me on these events. It was just a boost of confidence and reassurance that I must be doing something right. I want bands walking away feeling that the DWP fests are the best to play at, bar none.

Of course these festivals don’t happen with an amazing team. @zacharyevans @kennyleath @meganngallagherr @jimmyjamesheritage @plevatoproductions @dzoglio @mattrescue @_therealjollyroger the hardest working people I know. We had each other’s back, and were always down to help one another. The jokes in our group chat were always the second wind I needed each day. I can’t wait to do this all again next year with this crew!

After finally getting acclimated to my surroundings and my position — my stage, my backstage, my front of house, and being part of the biggest festival — I just want to take a moment to show some love and gratitude to someone who has been a huge part of this journey.
Kenny, thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge, resources, leadership, and experience with me. More than anything, thank you for helping mold me into a beast and pushing me to become better every day. 🙏🔥

I truly appreciate your patience, your guidance, and the way you’ve been willing to help me navigate this road to success. And I absolutely accept your offer to continue being there for me — that means more than you know.

Rest is Punk Rock Paradise Chad! 🙏🏼🤘🏽 Here’s a timeline of meeting Chad Gilbert @xchadballx for the first time at Warped Tour 2016, to seeing him and his band @newfoundglory perform at Sideouts in Island Lake IL, where I competed back in 2005 at the XFO. Chad was one of the most kind and genuine people I had ever met. Not only was he a phenomenal musician, and songwriter, he was also a huge MMA fan and loved talking about the UFC fights. But most importantly, his warrior spirit helped him fight the battle with his rare illness for years, so he could continue to be an amazing Father, Husband and Friend, to his daughter, wife, and millions of fans! Chad, you’re a Hero and. Fighter. Your Legacy will live on Forever through your Family, your band, and your music! We’re going to miss you CG! Keep on jammin with the punk rock Gods🤘🏽🙏🏼💪🏽

My family and I lost our mother today, I’m very sad and hurt about it, but, also grateful she’s not in any more pain and is not suffering anymore, she went peacefully in her sleep, she gave me life, love and understanding and no matter what, she loved me unconditionally, never judged me, she was through and through a proud Texan woman and if you knew her you loved her, too. Rest easy mama, I will always love you and miss you by @kennyleath
