Aftershock 2026!! Festivals swing hard, but we were swinging harder. It’s bittersweet that this one is over. I’m going to miss my bridge stage. I always get to work with incredible bands, but this weekend was extra special because nearly every band I had on my stage I am a big fan of and listen to on a regular basis. Some of the bands I have been listening to since high school. It’s literally a dream come true. I get to walk away with memories, new friends, and new career opportunities.

I had a lot of repeat bands on this festival too. Some of them would come up to me and say how they were genuinely excited to have me as their stage manager again, because I always made it a smooth day. That’s not to brag, because trust me, the imposter syndrome is big for me on these events. It was just a boost of confidence and reassurance that I must be doing something right. I want bands walking away feeling that the DWP fests are the best to play at, bar none.

Of course these festivals don’t happen with an amazing team. @zacharyevans @kennyleath @meganngallagherr @jimmyjamesheritage @plevatoproductions @dzoglio @mattrescue @_therealjollyroger the hardest working people I know. We had each other’s back, and were always down to help one another. The jokes in our group chat were always the second wind I needed each day. I can’t wait to do this all again next year with this crew!

The last month has been nothing but a truly awesome experience. After being away from it for so long it has felt really good being right back at it again. When @zacharyevans asked me to come SM the Life Stage at Louder Than Life and the Shockwave Stage at Aftershock I immediately said yes. I knew it would be fun, long, and sleepless night, but getting asked by a dude you have the utmost respect for, love for, and are so proud of how far they went, you gotta do it. Thank you Zach for trusting me with those stages. Thank you to all the DWP people that took me in, taught me your workings, gave great conversations and just being genuinely good people to be around.

I’m very thankful for getting to befriend and learn new things from @kennyleath and @jimmyjamesheritage who never gave me shit for the dumb questions.

Thank you @meganngallagherr for always helping me out when I had someone asking me for something last minute and for the radio battery drops.

Number 2 will not forget any of y’all.

Thanks for all the hugs and laughs from all the old friends I haven’t seen in years roll through the stage.

After finally getting acclimated to my surroundings and my position — my stage, my backstage, my front of house, and being part of the biggest festival — I just want to take a moment to show some love and gratitude to someone who has been a huge part of this journey.
Kenny, thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge, resources, leadership, and experience with me. More than anything, thank you for helping mold me into a beast and pushing me to become better every day. 🙏🔥

I truly appreciate your patience, your guidance, and the way you’ve been willing to help me navigate this road to success. And I absolutely accept your offer to continue being there for me — that means more than you know.
