🔥🥊 THIS ONE IS FOR THE HARDCORE MMA FANS! 🥊🔥

Coming soon to The Other Side with Mike G Podcast on YouTube, I’m sitting down with a man who spent years working behind the curtain of professional MMA — legendary fighter manager and sports agent KEN PAVIA! 🎙️💥

“The Pav” founded MMAagents and at one point represented a roster of roughly 75 professional MMA fighters, with clients competing across the UFC, WEC, PRIDE, Strikeforce, DREAM and Bellator. Before MMA, Pavia spent 12 years representing athletes in professional baseball and hockey, and he later became CEO of India’s Super Fight League.

🤯 And just LOOK at some of the names Pavia represented during his career: Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, Cris Cyborg, Ricco Rodriguez, Chris Lytle, Joe Riggs, Martin Kampmann, Phil Baroni, Karo Parisyan, Jay Hieron, Razor Rob McCullough and many more.

This isn't just a conversation about fights. 👊 We’re going inside the BUSINESS of fighting — managing fighters, negotiating careers, dealing with promoters, watching MMA explode from a fringe sport into a worldwide phenomenon, and hearing the stories that only somebody who was actually THERE can tell. 🎯🔥

Ken Pavia has seen the fight game from an angle very few people ever get to see... and now he’s coming to The Other Side. 🎙️

The first weekend of the 2026/2027 season began with one bracket and a gold at a local (should have made him do HS but didn’t want to risk injury as he is 93 and it is 106). Did a bunch of training and cutting for the event in PA next week (88lbs). Had a new friend come in for the weekend and school us on diet innovations and fine tune the training. Got in some good work and looking forward to Tyrant Duals next weekend and a trip to NYC to visit Columbia, Times Square, Central Park and catch a Broadway play!

Phil Baroni made his name as UFC’s “New York Bad Ass.”

Now facing murder charges in Mexico, questions remain about what years of fighting may have done to his brain. by @kenpaviamma

This is how we spent our “active rest” Sundays during the summer and fall before the season starts. We both look forward to it because we do it together.

… and so we begin the 7th grade year. They say luck happens when preparation meets opportunity. We are prepared and ready. We are designed to out work because the only thing I can be sure of is that is a key to success in everything. Luca has never once complained about the workload. I am on a quest to help my son work smarter and more efficiently. With 747 days until he starts high school we are ready to get lucky.

Summer BBQ and bulking. Our new @traegergrills is no longer a virgin. Got in a couple workouts and some active rest at the #usopenofsurfing. Cops handle the crowds masterfully. Finished it off with bomb @capital.farms dino ribs and a tomahawk. Then for keystones and metal health got our @bekenetik in! Didn’t have to use my AKA… it was a good day.

With Coach @valencia1127 at Worlds we took the opportunity to go to La Ribera B.C.S. for the weekend and visit an old friend and great host @markrastaraph. Great beaches, food, fishing, and gave us pause to reflect on our blessings. We work so hard 7 days a week, but even getting away and relaxing we missed the grind. Now stepping up preparation for the 2026/2027 season… we only have 1,132 days until the start of our freshman year!

2026 USA Wrestling Freestyle State Championships. Got a tech in our first round match than drew a multi time state champ who we had never beaten who took us out in the semi last year. Sometimes tough to wrestle buddies but we got him this time. In the semis got the #1 seed who hadn’t been scored on and Luca won 10-0 in 1:25. In the finals we met our teammate and training partner who may be top in the entire country. We battled but ended up second. Good showing and proud of his development. A day at the beach and now Luca is off to his moms to train in Vegas for 2 weeks (he says lap dances and margs). Wish we could be 60 and 13 forever. Thanks again to our coaches @valencia1127 @peteyknows and sponsors!
