Exciting times! President Trump now won a remarkable reelection victory along with Senator JD Vance being elected to become Vice President. The mainstream media and Trump’s opponents have been trying to engineer a sense of grave freight about the prospects of a second Trump Presidency. Harris and the Dems obviously ran a very negative campaign that was getting rather laughable with its desperation towards the end. This didn’t wash for most of the US American voters and Trump/Vance not only came out on top but won the popular vote which is a satisfying bonus. On the electoral college Trump carried all the swing states and won all three of the famous “Blue Wall” States that he won in 2016. This victory has been phenomenal and the silent majority have revolted yet again against the globalist liberal elite. The GOP have also won a trifecta with majorities in both chambers of Congress. Trump’s mandate is strong and clear. His team have gotten to work right away with transition planning and President Trump is better prepared than last time. Additionally he now knows more clearly who his allies are and who his foes are. This incoming Presidential Administration has potential to accomplish so much and make historic achievements for both the United States and for the good of the world. Wow! We’ve done it, Kemi has now been elected to lead the @conservatives . It has been a busy and quite rollercoaster-like campaign over recent months with much happening but Kemi and @renewal2030 came out on top. With optimism, we expect Jenrick and other candidates to play active roles going forward. Got on board now, this is just the start! Personally, I am immensely grateful to have had the privilege of working with for Kemi’s exciting project throughout this leadership campaign and I cherish the fulfilling experience it has been. Kemi is a rare gem of British politics and she has a special combination of necessary skills, qualities, principles, values and personal insights that make an offering too good to turn down. She has a bold vision and she is ambitious for our party and our country. Another great, positive and productive Conference. Going into #cpc25 last year, the mood amongst of the members and delegates was very mixed. Some were hopeful and optimistic, some were pessimistic and regarded the hopeful optimism as a case of political cope. Things had been electorally bleak for the @conservatives earlier in 2025. However by the end of Conference, the mood had progressively picked up and Kemi’s make or break final speech was crucial to consolidate her leadership.

A lot has happened since then, Kemi and her project have continued to go from strengths to strengths with some fruits of this showing with events like our Parliamentary by-election victory in Aberdeen. Additionally, sore losers who had acted destructively rather than constructively have exited our party. So going into #cpc26 this year, vibes were broadly positive from start to finish with Kemi wrapping up with another fantastic conclusive address following various ambitious but credible policy announcements too, grounded in conservative values and principles.

Conference is an event I look forward to every year and it really provides a brilliant opportunity for networking and business along with socialising and having fun with many great and interesting people.

P.S Party politically, it has been instrumental in keeping the Party connected nationally across the Parliamentary, professional and voluntary sectors of our Party.

For a while, our party’s youth wing had seemed to have been neglected to a considerable extent as it existed somewhat statically.

In the aftermath of the @conservatives ‘s record general election defeat, the task of renewing our party is a tall order. Reorienting the party to attract and involve younger generations is a necessity to renew our party and this in itself is a daunting challenge. However since being entrusted by our leader with coordinating the Young Conservatives on an interim basis, @kevinghateh has demonstrated exceptional drive, initiative and commitment in striving to develop a robust national network for @youngconservatives_uk ! For me and many others, Kevin is the obvious choice for being national YC Chair on a permanent basis. He is best prepared to continue with the work that has already begun. If you are a Young Conservative and you also want us to keep Kevin, you are welcome to DM about joining the WhatsApp community for Kevin’s campaign.

Another terrific show and phenomenal performance from @arianagrande at the 02. I am grateful to have attended and experienced a concert of her #eternalsunshinetour2026 and I was grateful to have attended a #sweetenerworldtour2019 show too. Her Birmingham Night 2 concert in 2018 was also great had thought to myself that when she next went on tour, I’d like to see her at the Millennium Dome’s famous 02 arena. Now I have had that privilege. A very frustrating and disappointing finish! So close! Tuchel’s tactical substitutions to get us over the line had been so good until this point. Threw it away last half an hour 😫😢A coach of Tuchel’s calibre should’ve known better than to go ultra defensive on a one goal lead against a team with the footballing genius of Lionel Messi! Anyway, we’ve had a good tournament and we still have a third place play-off. CAPTION: This was from when Rishi was leader before the general election in 2024. The tables have well and truly turned now. There are lingering wets that still remain in the party and won’t give up on their globalist liberal elite entryist agendas but now Kemi has set a clear ultimatum to either get on board or get out!

The likes of Ruth Davidson, Caroline Noakes, Taliban Tony, bitter Barwell and others are in denial and still insist that their way is best. They will push that tedious nonsensical argument that robustly conservative policy platforms don’t win elections. The idea that just because the Labour Party doesn’t win general elections from the hard left, the Conservatives won’t win by being right-wing and authentic to themselves is absurd. A way to win back voters most definitely isn’t to double down on our mistakes by continuing to allow in Government mass immigration, multiculturalist dogma, Labour lite fiscal policy, excessive regulation and Net Zero fanaticism.

The truth of the matter is, if we still had the previous policy agenda, we wouldn’t have won that Aberdeen by-election.

VINDICATION 💪
Most of the anti-Kemi noise from within the Party was from those who never liked Kemi anyway and/or had supported another leadership candidate so much of that negativity it seemed was a bad case of sour grapes.

Largely, the internal criticism on Kemi was displaced blame. Kemi Badenoch has had to pick up the pieces from a record general election defeat under Rishi’s leadership. The attack line that is routinely used against us is “you had fourteen years” but Kemi wasn’t party leader throughout those fourteen years in Government.

Another unprecedented factor to this scenario is that following the record defeat, in Opposition we have faced a formidable electoral challenge on the political “right”from a party purportedly dissociated from the bipartisan failures of the past couple of decades and who are led by a well known populist and established public figure.
