one year ago today my brother entered hospice and i lost my brother Cole couple days after. this whole year has been very hard talking about him, even using his name is hard for me but i’ve spent a lot of time thinking of what i wanted to do for this anniversary. part of it is sharing a story. a part of him. i wanted to share that Cole had autism and was non verbal. so he made noises instead, and you would be able to tell what kind of mood he was in based on what kind of noises. so i wanted to talk about his laugh. when he would watch phineas and ferb (which was his show he watched since he was a baby) he would laugh his ass off even if he just was repeating the same episode that day. one of his favorite episodes were either the Mummy episode or the SIMP squirrels in my pants episode. we would have to rewind certain parts and he would keep dying laughing. i always miss his laugh, his noises, the rocking of his chair when he would jump back after laughing so hard. i also wanted to share my all time favorite video of me and my brother when we were younger. loosing a sibling is hard, grief is hard, it will and has always came in waves, sharing this story is what helps me. by @kenziedeban
