This weekend we celebrated the life of the greatest man, my papa, my hero. To know Papa, is to love him. His smile, his stories, his pride in serving our country, his Sicilian roots, his love of the chiefs, his love of waffles with strawberries and so much whip cream you can’t even see the waffle, his love of his family and his love of my mom and grammy. His 99 years were filled with bravery, strength, perseverance, adventure, and so so much love! I will miss our FaceTimes, our Elmer’s breakfasts after church, your excitment for deer in your backyard, and all your random yet practical little gifts. I will cherish our times together forever. I promise to carry on your yearn for life, your adventurous spirit, and most of all your love and kindness you gave to others. Heaven gained a good one. Semper Fi Papa, I love you forever! You’re mine forever 🤍

To my fiancé (!!!), thank you for taking me back to the place where we locked our love forever, six years ago! What a dream to be engaged in the city of love! 7 years has nothing on forever, but I guess 7 must really be my lucky number, and boy was it worth the wait! This day was better than I could have ever imagined! I could not love you more if I tried!
