To my Papa,

You are my Hero and a Hero for many others. You are the definition of bravery and strength while also having so much love to give. Thank you and Grammy for bringing my strong and beautiful mama into this world and allowing me to witness the love that all of you shared together. You lived a full and happy life that created many crazy, inspirational, funny and beautiful stories and memories that will live on in our hearts and be told forever. The irony of heading home on the 250th year anniversary of America shines so much beauty and gratitude, it moves me. For love of country, for our freedom, for God blessing us all so abundantly and for a family who values all 3. Saying our goodbyes to our Ohana seems to get harder and harder, but when I look at these clips, and see the real takeaway, it blows me away. We are all so lucky. To love and be loved, to dance freely and wildly, to swim in the great wide open, to sing out loud with gumption, to believe in princesses, to eat and laugh with reckless abandon, and to literally live in the land of the free. 🇺🇸 What a gift y’all. 😭

how am I only 5’6?, ethel cain’s angelic voice, smiling at baby photos of @ bri, how much I miss @ mack, how much I miss going to barre with @ brenna, this creed song being stuck in my head for two weeks lol, Southwest’s policy to pick a seat is a form of torture, crying over more baby photos of @ bri, how Cleveland is so freakin cool, how I’ve had so so many random side quests!! THANKSGIVING IS OHANA 💜——
Being together these days is impossible with 26 people but when there’s an opportunity to do it someone always grabs it. We were missing one in Italy and one in Georgia but you could feel it in the air and see it (excuse my ugly tears) in our smiles. The dream and joy of togetherness is always all any of us ever wanted. 😭 Happy thanksgiving from our Hawaiian/Cali/TN family. Love you beyond.

This summer was way too good to us. Went straight to Havasu, then Big Bear, then cruised it to Mexico. The boys had the time of their lives and we made the best memories 🥹 Happy 30th birthday baby bro- we had a blast, and too much ice cream. Chooch won a gold medal at kids club and Eli spent the day at Papas and Beer with his uncles/ aunties 😂

FAMILY FIRST —— the way we do life, is showing up for each other when big life moments happen. Sometimes it’s everyone, sometimes it’s some of us, and this time, we made it for my nephews high school graduation where he’ll go on to Pepperdine to play baseball. ⚾️ So proud of you Zach.

A CALI KIND OF EASTER ——
After the world felt like it stopped two weeks ago in my hometown of Nashville, it felt like coming home to Cali was the place for my heart to land for Easter.
——
And It’s no wonder that today, my heart feels some healing these last 4 days. Despite the grief I have felt in Nashville, the abundance of love and joy and faith I feel here on Easter in the church I grew up in with my entire family (sans my lil bro and family in Kauai), today was healing. And my kiddos playing, laughing and full of joy amongst their Cali family was everything we needed this weekend.
