Went 2-1 yesterday as a team. Shoutout to our opponent for taking a win from us. Respect to Juan. Great clean fight and execution.

Still proud of @tannercollinsmartialarts for his improvement in this camp. This sport is not for the weak and the cookie crumbles hard sometimes. I’d rather dare greatly than live meekly.

Onward we march.

This team is only going in one direction. If the small but hard working state of Iowa wants to go there it’d be smart to realize we have to go there together.

We aren’t big markets like NY, CA or FL. Team @harddriveperformance has been there, is there and is going there again.

Let’s ride together.

Back to work Monday.

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my amigo. The incomparable, timeless and seemingly immortal Dave Sherzer.

Dave and I have been working together to create exceptional martial artists since before mixed martial arts existed.

It has been an honor and a privilege to share the martial arts life with him for 27 years.

One of the greatest martial artists and human beings I’ve ever met in my life.

I’ve known many great people. Blessed. Outside of my father Dave might be the one that I admire and respect the most.

He sets a standard for which all others might be judged. Without him what people know as Hard Drive doesn’t exist.

Thank you for everything my friend.

I’m a little bit behind on my social media. OK like three or four weeks behind. But I wanted to give a shout out to my homie @onetimejiujitsu

Not all that long ago, I was kind of down in the dumps and at a low point, he surprised me with this incredible guest that now hangs over my arm chair in the man cave.

I didn’t wanna post it until I got the lighting hooked up proper and let me tell you it sets a real vibe.

Blessed.

Thank you, brother 👊
