We had such an amazing time connecting with the Dayton community at Making Strides this past weekend! From making friendship bracelets and face painting to tossing around a soccer ball and sharing our mission, it was a day filled with joy and community spirit. We can't wait to do it all over again in Cincinnati this coming weekend! 💗💗💗

For World Mental Health Day, we are beyond grateful to honor our Mental Health Professional, Honeybun!

Honeybun’s presence at camp meant the world to us. Throughout the week, he created a safe, comforting space where every camper felt seen, valued, and supported. Whether he was stepping in to help a child work through a hard moment, offering reassurance, or simply sharing a warm smile, his kindness brought so much light to camp.

Honeybun's support didn’t stop with the campers—he also provided a constant source of support for our counselors. Always ready to listen, offer guidance, or provide encouragement, he was there whenever help was needed. Camp truly would not be the same without him!

Last Monday, 9/21, we had our first member meeting of the season!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came, we discussed what Kesem is and why we do it! If you weren’t able to make it, it’s okay! Last but certainly not least our Directors! Skrt and Smurfette are the ones who run the show. They will be responsible for guiding our entire executive board, overseeing year-round operations, and ensuring we are fully prepared to deliver an incredible camp experience. From supporting every coordinator group to keeping our goals on track, their vision inspires everything we do. We are so lucky to have their dedicated leadership for our team and can't wait for an incredible year ahead! by @kesem_uc

Our next exec group is Development and Treasurers! Sunny, Blondie and Big Al are responsible for planning fundraisers, keeping track of donations, and our budget. They are already laying the groundwork for Giving Tuesday, setting big goals to ensure our support reaches more families than ever before. We can't wait to see what they plan for us! by @kesem_uc

As the primary point of contact for our community partners, they work to build strong relationships beyond our organization. At the same time, they will maintain constant communication with our camper families to ensure necessary information is ready for camp.
