So much love for this Kesem family of mine!

The green unit was the best unit to end my time at Kesem with. I couldn’t have ask for better campers and counselors to make this year as special as it was. There’s no place like Kesem and you won’t know the magic it can bring until you experience it yourself.

This summer I had the privilege of being a counselor for Kesem at University of Cincinnati! It was an enlightening and heart warming experience to be able to give back to an organization that did more for me than words can describe. To watch the campers grow and connect through a singular week, to have people who can empathize with each other and who just understand what it is like to have a parent with cancer- it will forever be beautiful to be a part of and now to witness on the other side of things. Shoutout to all my amazing fellow counselors for making it an amazing week not just for the kids but for me as well. Thank you Chopper for capturing all of our best moments. And thank you HoneyBun for being the world’s best MHP! Thank you @kesem and thank you CKUC🫶,

At our For the Love of Christina Blood Drive in June, we also collected donations for Camp Kesem, a wonderful organization provides a free summer camp experience for kids affected by a parent's cancer.

Our friend Abby, who volunteers at the camp, sent us these photos and this message: "We had one of the most successful weeks at camp this year and we couldn’t have done it without you!!"

What an amazing night. Our goal for this event was to raise $35,000, and thanks to all of your support we were able to raise over $45,000 in one night. Very thankful to everyone who sponsored and donated. Thank you to everyone who helped us accomplish our goal of being able to help more campers whose parents are strongly battling cancer are able to attend camp and get year long support for free this year.

Shoutout to my co-cord, everyone who volunteered to help make it that much more special, my family for attending and showing me their support, and everyone who showed their love for KESEM. 💚💙

@kesem_uc is a non-profit organization completely ran by student volunteers. They offer support year round for kids through & beyond their parents cancer, including a week long summer camp! Camp is completely free for these families because of your donations 😊🙏🏼
