Keshet Eilon takes pride in the support and guidance we are able to provide to young string musicians. We were overwhelmed by the level of excellence, the dedication, and the growth that we met. But it is the in-between moments we miss more than anything. 53 amazing students from 22 countries around the world, who went straight into our hearts, and will forever be part of the Keshet Eilon family. taken in Finca Cautivador by @kesheteilon

Every year, we have the privilege and honor of hosting Adam Korman, the violin maker, at the Keshet Eilon summer Mastercourse. Adam runs an open workshop where he performs necessary repairs on the students' instruments. The workshop is a fascinating space of precise, professional work. This year, Adam also held a workshop for the course students on bow rehair. Always a pleasure to witness his work.

Since the establishment of Keshet Eilon, there has been a wonderful tradition of incorporating the world of archery into the summer Mastercourse. Every summer, a professional archery area is set up under the devoted guidance of Eyal Neve. When we had to hold the summer course in Spain, it was obvious that the archery area would come along too. Eyal and Sigal Neve joined us on this journey and set up a beautiful archery area that invites students to learn about the world of the bow and arrow, engage in physical activity, and discover the fascinating connection between the musical bow and the archery bow.
This year we were also joined by Olympic athlete Itay Shanny, who taught the students devotedly and spent the rest of the day preparing for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Zingaresca by Erwin Schulhoff 🎻💥 @kesheteilon

Was a joy and privilege to perform this piece with Rachel Cheung in Spain! 🇪🇸

Definitely an experience to learn this in less then a week 🫡

I’ve really enjoyed getting to know this piece and discovering all of its energy, character, and humor. It draws inspiration from Hungarian and Romani musical traditions, while also showing Schulhoff’s unique musical voice and his interest in jazz and modern music.

What makes performing Schulhoff especially meaningful is knowing his story. As a Czech-Jewish composer, his music was suppressed by the Nazis, and he was eventually imprisoned and died in the Wülzburg concentration camp in 1942.

There’s something incredibly powerful about bringing his music to life today. Zingaresca feels so full of freedom, personality, and life
