@kesheteilon Recap 3
Schubert Grand Duo, Movement I, with wonderful pianist Natalia @natalygrines . 🎻🎹

Such a challenging work to play, especially when it comes to finding all the different colors and characters within Schubert’s music.

As I’ve been learning this piece, I’ve started to imagine that I’m creating a watercolor painting every time I perform it, layering different shades, sometimes delicate and transparent, sometimes warm and expressive, and allowing the colors to constantly change with the music.

Still a long way to go, but I’m enjoying discovering more and more colors in this beautiful work each time I play it. 🎨🎶

It was such a privilege to make music alongside these incredible musicians at @kesheteilon!
I’m very grateful for the support from The Sheila and Dennis Cohen Charitable Trust for giving me a scholarship- without your support I wouldn’t have been able to attend Keshet Eilon.
A special thank you to Yishai Rubin for accompanying me and playing with me in these 3 weeks!.
I had a great time playing Archery as it helped me to concentrate and focus a lot on performing on stage!
A huge thank you to @itzhakrashkovsky and @pietro_genovagaia for organising such a wonderful course, and to all the faculty for creating such a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. I had so many performance opportunities throughout the course, as well as masterclasses and lessons with @gotlibovich , @honggangli and @gilladkarni. I learnt so much from each of them and came away with so many new ideas and perspectives.
I got to perform Hindemith viola sonata op.25 no.4 in “Music and Politics “ concert and Bach cello Suite 3 Sarabande with Yuval in his masterclass and Sarabande and Gigue in a Young Artists concert and also York Bowen Romance op.21 no.2.
I’m also very grateful to @altea_international_school for lending us their beautiful school and to La Nucia Palms Hotel for welcoming us and making our stay so enjoyable.
It was such a memorable experience, and I had an amazing time making music, learning, performing and meeting so many wonderful musicians!
