I feel like we bought a really important colt for the @waterhousebottracing stable today. Father Time 🕰️ will tell.

1️⃣ The benefit of this breeze format is we can access stride data, and this Anamoe colt for us was the alpha of the sale. Take note of how easily he produced his figures too in the breeze video, with his ears pricked!

We also have his half sister LOW KEY, who is Group winner in waiting. Hopefully it happens in the Gr3 Reginald Allen on Saturday.

SODHI’S debut 2YO stakes win today in the Debutante made me appreciate something about her sire TASSORT that I had not thought of before =

Commercially this is a huge value add as buyers can bid with confidence when they find the ones they like ❤️

He has sired 36 (of 130 sold) yearlings to make $100k or more through his first 3 seasons (2023-2025) where he stood for $10k+ or less

Looking back I had one huge advantage in finding my love of thoroughbreds so young = getting my reps in early

They say it takes 10,000 hours to achieve world class mastery in any complex field. From the age of 12 I was able to start accumulating my hours, and by 15 horse racing & breeding is all I really cared about - just ask my teachers 😂

You can see in the article I had my career goals outlined. I remember writing my goals annually. In my experience, what you write becomes reality so-

dream big, put it on paper, and work so hard & “do so many reps that it would be unreasonable for you to fail” (@hormozi ) by @kestrelthoroughbreds

Here is a quick (and rough) comparison of the most open & commercial thoroughbred markets globally.

Australia is phenomenal. The US interests me. Europe will continue to be a hub for sourcing tried horses for the time being. by @kestrelthoroughbreds

THOROUGHBRED STOCK MARKET

NINJA 🥷🏻 sells for a valuation of $5.5m

I’m loving the liquidity that our online platforms in Australia & New Zealand are delivering for racehorse owners.

Between @inglisdigital @magicmillions @gavelhouse.com_auctions & @bldstckauction there is basically a sale a week where racehorse owners can buy & sell, whether you are playing defence & trying to preserve capital, or opportunistic.

This sale of Ninja will open up more opportunities to buy & sell into big races & our sport will be better for it. Thanks must got to Racing Australia for being open to turn around ownership transfers so quickly.

All the best to David Blumberg who now has a runner in the richest race on turf in the 🌍 $20m Everest. From what I can find, David races horses mainly out of Grafton & has previously won an Armidale Cup 🏆 It will be a very special experience 😀 by @kestrelthoroughbreds
