Less than 12 hours after I got home from NYC, we headed back to the airport to fly down to Texas for summer Fambly Wambly Timey Wimey with the Ridge niephlings! We made multiple trips to the promised land (Buc-ee’s), I sat in our niece’s hair salon again, we learned how much she likes measuring flour, we floated (left our phones in the car this time around) and—again 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️—Carter left an offering in the river, the family clambered around Natural Bridge Caverns, and there was, of course, canasta and Flip 7! Spent a couple days running around NYC on a solo work trip! Four days of EOS training at ETC’s New York office followed by evenings of city wandering, meeting friends and family for meals and drinks, seeing the ridiculously hilarious 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, squeezing in a MUGGY Central Park run, and walking the High Line before flying home to make a laundry/repacking pit stop before Texas!

Found the yee to our haw, spent two evenings on 6th Street, made it WAYYY past 10 pm with @cridgenhs (👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼), had a big pretzel, and experienced Wemby’s wingspan IN PERSON. 😱🤯🙌🏼
