☀️ With the announcement that the Green Hill Solar Farm has been given the go ahead and Northamptonshire becomes a leading generator of renewable energy in the UK, there is no better time to get a career in the renewable energy sector. Community energy schemes, domestic renewable projects, roof top solar, inland wind turbines using clean, free, endless supplies of wind and sunshine to generate our electricity supply are creating opportunities for both suppliers and users.
Infinis Futures early careers programme has opened for applications. Infinis has created three opportunities at sites near Grafton, Brigstock and Oakley Wood for Trainee Project Manager roles. Work on a live renewable energy development, gain practical experience across planning, coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement and site activity, and complete a Project Manager apprenticeship. See the link for details.

Cllr Liane Robinson, chair of Kettering Town Council’s markets and events committee, said: “Kettering by the Sea is such a fun event, and, with the cost of living going up, it’s more important than ever that we provide free holiday experiences for families to enjoy. It’ll be great to see everyone enjoying the water fountains, playing in the huge sandpit and taking part in our programme of activities. We also have a dedicated area for those with an additional need, called SEND-by-the-Sea. I look forward to seeing you there!” by @kettering.central
