Yoga. Los Angeles. 2026.

My practice has changed a lot over the last few years - moving away from traditional Hatha and deeper into Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Rocket.

More movement. More intensity. More inversions. More play. And, increasingly, a better understanding of when to push and when to recover.

These are a few cuts from stories I’ve posted throughout 2026 - moments of progress, exploration, failure, recovery, and occasionally getting something to actually stick.

Huge thanks to @yancyscotschwartz for the inspiration, guidance and constant encouragement along the way. 🙏

The range of emotions that have led to today - my 50th lap around the sun - have been fairly dramatic. Feelings of joy, fear, love, excitement, anticipation, and more.

But as I reflect on 50 the feeling that supersedes all others is gratitude. Real gratitude. I'm grateful for my family and friends, a solid upbringing in a loving household, an amazing career, and a healthy lifestyle.

I'm extremely fortunate that some of these circumstances were cultivated for me (family, upbringing, etc), however I'm equally as proud of my achievements. In the last 5 years I've really put in the work - and to me - it shows. Physically, mentally, emotionally.

Friends would likely agree that I'm a giver. I genuinely enjoy giving in all kinds of ways; through supporting others and being thoughtful with everyday acts of service. But sometimes, I'm on the other side, and sincerely fortunate to receive.

Case in point, this video.

Absolutely humbled by the opportunity to head into the skies above my home in Los Angeles with @red6ceo Dan Robinson. An truly unforgettable experience in an experimental plane flown by an F-22 Raptor pilot. Thank you Dan!
