GUA-SHA goes so much deeper then just the skin. After 16 hrs experiencing and learning, I understand now more then ever before. Curious? Keep reading!
First though - I feel honored I was given the opportunity to go last minute to New York, literally planned 3 days before! Adam was going to be gone at a music festival with the kids and friends. I was going to be home, maybe relaxing, probably catching up on overdue work. Then this opportunity presented itself and it was as if the stars aligned that I had no plans for those three days making this possible. I got to see friends I’ve missed so much and LEARN more then I imagined!! Second, I have never taken an advanced educational course that I was not only excited and inspired by to absorb all the info, but was equally incredible relaxed and calm. Gua sha is truly another level of holistic treatments.
Below Repost from my biz page.
At @yosowellness have always had an intuitive nature, connecting holistic wellness to your optimal health. This is the foundation Yōso was built on. Recognizing the degrees of the internal and external that equally create the effects of the opposite in a variety of forms.
It is connecting the gut, the skin, the muscles, connective tissue, energy, lymph, emotions, diet, lifestyle, sleep and so much more; all which creates what we feel in our bodies, what we see in the mirror, what our mind and heart experiences.
Gua sha blended with the modalities we currently offer, truly creates a fully rounded holistic approach for your “True Care from Skin to Soul.” What an honor to learn from one of the wisest @britta_beauty in the form of Gua sha for the face and @samantha_story_acupuncture who blends it with facial acupuncture, as we continue to grow to offer you the best holistic services as we further intertwine all the pieces.
You can currently receive Gua sha within the facial acupuncture service with Deva, and very soon as a stand-alone treatment! But first a little more practice for the stand-alone treatment, so we make sure when we do put this healing stone on you, we are doing it right to give you the most optimal results possible!
